Library Book That Was 90 Years Overdue Finally Returned
A library book that was last checked out when FDR was president was finally returned. Liam Hegarty, head of Reference at the Larchmont Public Library in New York, told Inside Edition Digital, “a woman reached out to us and said she had been cleaning out her father-in-law's estate, and came across this book that looked to be ours and looked to be way overdue.” The library waived the overdue fee, and plans to put the volume — a collection of stories by Joseph Conrad — on display.

Dog Survives Being Trapped in Cave With Bear for 3 Days
A dog named Charlie fell down an extremely narrow cave shaft and became stuck about 40 feet down. Waldens Creek Volunteer Fire Department says two rescuers descended into the cave to rescue the trapped hunting dog, but they found another animal they weren’t planning on — a 200-pound black bear. Despite sharing a cave with a bear, authorities say Charlie was hungry and a bit dehydrated, but otherwise in good condition.

At a press conference with his family and doctor, Rudy Noorlander was asked if he could speak at all, to which he responded "a little." 'Three's Company' Star Suzanne Somers Dies at 76
"Three's Company" star Suzanne Somers has passed away after her battle with breast cancer. In a statement, her family announced that she died "peacefully in her sleep at home." She was also surrounded by her family, including her loving husband, her son Bruce, and her immediate family. Her husband, Alan Hamel, says hours before her death, he gifted his wife of 46 years a love letter that she read before falling asleep. She was 76.

100-Year-Old Shipwreck Discovered in Lake Superior
A 100-year-old shipwreck was discovered in Whitefish Point, Michigan, by the Great Lake Shipwreck Historical Society. The Huronton was 800 feet below at the bottom of Lake Superior. October 11, 1923, the 238-foot-long Huronton collided with the Cetus. There were no casualties. “What actually happened can be revealed after we find one of these shipwrecks,” Executive Director Bruce Lynn told Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.

22-Year-Old Man Charged in Texas State Fair Shooting
Families fled in terror as gunfire erupted at the State Fair of Texas. Police say two men got into a dispute in the food court and one opened fire. Awbrey Steele, who was riding the Ferris wheel, recounts the frightening incident. "It was honestly very isolating, to see everyone being able to flee freely out of the park while we were stuck on the ride not able to leave, not knowing exactly what was going on," she says. A 22-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.

A 65-year-old pilot is being accused of stalking. New York restaurant owner Cassandra Wilusz says she's been tormented by the pilot for four years. The pilot, Michael Arnold, claims he was just taking photos from high above to post on social media. However, Wilusz says that's nonsense and she's the target. When he was arrested, police say they found photos of Wilusz on his cellphone. Arnold was charged with aggravated stalking. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
