Taft had the luxury of playing at home against Dupont Manual, who made the two-hour trip from Louisville. After a special teams mishap gave Dupont a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, the Senators made up for it on a punt return and two-point conversion to take the lead at 8-7. Unfortunately, that's all the points Taft could find against the Rams in the 24-8 loss.

Sycamore faced Middletown this week, and the Middles are no longer undefeated. The Aviators secured their second straight game with a 35-17 win against the Middies.

Heading across the river to Northern Kentucky, Cooper took on Ryle for a heated battle. Ryle led at the end of the first quarter due to a rushing TD from senior quarterback Logan Verax. The Raiders made a statement win with a 28-10 over Cooper. This marks two straight wins for Ryle after their season-opening loss at CovCath.

Anderson senior Brodey Berg, WCPO's reigning Player of the Week, had five TDs last week, and he kept piling on the stats against Lebanon this week. Anderson ran away from Lebanon with a 44-14 victory.

Milford and Loveland gave the crowd an offensive spectacle. In the first quarter, Loveland took the lead 7-0 after junior quarterback Tyler Roberts found his go-to guy senior wide receiver Brayden McCaleb for a TD. Milford also had some magic too with junior quarterback Luke Brand — and it was enough. Milford defeated Loveland 52-34.

Northwest traveled up to Butler County to face Ross. Ross won big, defeating Northwest 48-3.

Cincinnati Country Day hosted North College Hill and shut out the Trojans 35-0. Senior quarterback Parker Corbin, who's committed to play baseball at Maryland, rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns. He also passed for another two.

Sayre traveled to Ludlow to face off on the Panthers' new red turf field. The Spartans took home a 14-0 victory.

A man accused of posing as a resident adviser and raping a 17-year-old girl inside a University of Cincinnati residence hall now faces charges on two additional sexual assaults, according to a press release from the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office. Prosecutor Melissa Powers said its one of the worst rapes the prosecutor's office has ever seen.

The star-studded roster of Winton Woods hosted West Clermont. Winton Woods took the lead in the second quarter, and with a late surge behind Winton Woods running back Isaiah "Zeke" Garrett, the Warriors won 21-13.

Heading to The Pit, Elder and Springboro faced off. The Panthers brought home a victory, defeating Springboro 28-7.

On the road this week, St. X headed down to Chattanooga, Tennessee to play McCallie. Despite the long drive, the Bombers came up short with a 34-11 loss. Next up, St. X will face Withrow in next week's WCPO's Game of the Week.
