為何蔣介石要穿軍裝去迎接麥克阿瑟將軍 (Why did Chiang Kai-shek wear military uniform to General MacArthur.)
When Japan surrendered on August 15, 1945, and the status of Taiwan was undecided, the Korean War broke out on June 25, 1950, and President Truman asked General MacArthur to fly to Taiwan from Tokyo. At that time, in order to meet General MacArthur, Chiang Kai-shek wore a five-star military uniform to the airport to meet him. Why did Chiang Kai-shek wear a military uniform when General MacArthur was going to meet with Chiang Kai-shek? The reason is that Chiang Kai-shek was not the president of the Republic of China in 1950, and Chiang Kai-shek had already left the army as early as 1949. Chiang Kai-shek was right to wear military uniforms. The reason is that in the General Order No. 1 of September 2, 1949, it was written that "Chiang Kai-shek Group" represented the Allied forces in Taiwan to accept the Japanese surrender ceremony, and it was not written that "Republic of China" represented the Allied forces.
1945年8月15日日本投降，並且台灣地位未決定時，1950年6月25日韓戰爆發，杜魯門總統要求麥克阿瑟將軍，從東京飛到台灣。當時的蔣介石為了迎接麥克阿瑟將軍，他穿著五星級軍裝到機場迎接。為什麼麥克阿瑟將軍要與蔣介石見面時，蔣介石為什麼要穿軍服？原因是1950年時蔣介石並不是中華民國的總統，蔣介石早在1949年時就已經下野了。蔣介石穿軍服是正確的。原因是1949年9月2日的一般命令第一號中是寫「蔣介石集團」代表盟軍到台灣接受日軍投降儀式，並不是寫「中華民國」代表盟軍。
