Riley accepted Precious right off the bat. Probably because she didn’t require as much attention as him. She was some kind of mix, very old and forgotten in the back of the shelter.

Riley was trying to get our attention (we were probably eating). That core strength though! When we first picked him up from the shelter, he barely ate for the first 2 weeks. After that, he trusted us and his personality kicked in.
