Getting down to the Fundamentals of Constitution's Article V... . Just why was it included in the original Constitution.? . There were only 7 Articles- So what was the specific significance of the States' Rights to hold Amendment Conventions... . - Was it a poison pill.? - Or a "trash the whole idea" lever.? - Maybe an emergency cord to be used as a last resort Hail Mary.? - A process for Congress to approve as States can't control it anyway.? - If the national government is the problem- it should set the rules.? . But the Supreme Court has interpreted the original Constitution and established their version- the CONAN (Constitution Annotated) which is the expert document on all things Congress must follow, or they'll be struck down. . So you can elect as many "good" people as you can muster over the next 50 years and Congress will not change... bluntly- It Can Not..!! . The Supreme Court has ruled and those rulings need to be overturned, and DC will never do that... It is up to the States to do that... . Enter the Article V Amendments Convention through the Convention Of States resolution that 34 states must pass... the path to fixing this mess. . The COS resolution will allow a convention to rein in DC in 3 areas: - Impose Fiscal Restraint (read balanced budget, curtail spending, or maybe audit the Fed). - Impose Term Limits on elected and appointed federal officials (read Congress, Supreme Court and other federal judges, & Deep State). - Narrow the scope of federal jurisdiction (read States can override DC, restore original intent, end duplicated agencies like Depts of Energy, Education, EPA... think of how much money we'd save). . The States gave birth to the national government- we should be good parents and re-establish some boundaries..!!

The focus is always on building the relationship and communication with your state legislators from you local district... .
