Sing 2 is an action, adventure, animation, comedy, family, and musical film. Buster Moon has lofty ambitions. Unfortunately, when a talent scout judges their effort as insufficient for the big time, Buster is eager to prove her wrong. With that objective in mind, Buster motivates his team to risk everything in order to sneak into a talent audition in Red Shore City for the demanding entertainment magnate Jimmy Crystal. Against all chances, they pique his attention with some frenzied creative improvisation and even more desperate falsehoods, such as personally knowing the reclusive rock sensation Clay Calloway, who hasn't been seen in 15 years. With only a hazy narrative concept and terrible repercussions for failure, Buster and his buddies must all extend their skills to put on a show against all obstacles. In that battle, the gang's problems appear insurmountable, but each of them discovers fresh ideas and companions in unexpected places to pursue a creative ambition worthy of them.
