A beautiful weekend trip on Kaua'i, Hawai'i for Graces' Birthday!

Our weekend trip included a helicopter ride to Molokai and a beautiful waterfall hike on the Road to Hana!

Thier Journey took them from the North Island, New Zealand, all the way through the South Island. They visited Hobbitown, Mount Doom, Glow Worm Caves, beautiful Lake Wanaka, and more!

Our trip to New Zealand brought us to Hobbiton, the filming location for the shire in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit!

A playful and very vocal pod of spinner dolphins decided to come swim with these people along the coast of O'ahu, Hawaii!

The Kahekili Trail is in the Ka'a'awa Valley, O'ahu. The ridge hike takes you to a view of Kualoa Ranch, where many movies were filmed, including Jurassic Park. The trail features a beautiful waterfall and stunning views.

Kalauao Falls is probably the most peaceful and secluded water fall that is legal to do on O'ahu. There is a steep climb from the Aiea Loop Trail down to the waterfall, and a steep climb back up to the ridge. The ridge has wild Lilikoi, guava, and mountain apples if you are lucky. Go during the rainy season so that the falls are flowing. Bring bug spray and be prepared for slippery and muddy trails. Mahalo!

The Crouching Lion Hike is a beautiful hike, south of Kualoa Ranch

The Lanikai Pillboxes are on the windward side of O'ahu, near Kailua.

Three Peaks is simply my favorite hike to do in Hawaii. It has breathtaking views, rock climbing, and a challenging incline. The hike is over four miles and can be considered a challenging. The third peak should only be attempted by experienced climbers. It is on the windward side of the Island, near Kailua. If you are looking for an adventure, try Three Peaks.

Mokule'ia Beach, O'ahu is where they filmed the crash site on the ABC show, LOST. It's crystal clear water, numerous Green Sea Turtles, and pristine while sand make it one of the best beaches in Hawaii and the world.

Moana Falls Trail Hike, after the trail was updated in 2021. The trail was updated with wider trails and gravel that makes it safer, and easier to hike. The falls now have an overlook to take pictures and a better view of the entire waterfall.

Makua Beach is such a nice place that it happens to be where they filmed the Julie Andrews film "Hawaii" and the show "LOST". Add this beach to your bucket list!
