BBC Finally Admits Hamas Used People in Shifa Hospital as Human Shields
The BBC and other MSM outlets have been horrible on their reporting of many topics during this newer war between Islamic-Nazis and Israel. Here is the BBC [finally] admitting that there was a Hamas command center underneath the Shifa Hospital – as Israel originally reported by the IDF. The Left Calls the GOP Fascist (Lol)
This is from a guy involved in a conspiracy org, so I will not mention him... but I do have a broad disclaimer of sorts:
■ While I like their rants (Paul Watson, Mark Dice, and others) and these commentaries hold much truth in them, I do wish to caution you… he is part of Info Wars/Prison Planet and Summit News network of yahoos, a crazy conspiracy arm of Alex Jones shite. Also, I bet if I talked to him he would reveal some pretty-crazy conspiratorial beliefs that would naturally undermine and be at-odds-with some of his rants. Just to be clear, I do not endorse these people or orgs.

GodLogic Routes Sheikh Uthman’s Challenge Regarding Jesus’ Divinity
The Sheikh brings up Mark 13:32, and the response by Austin is an excellent response to the challenge, both in the verses from Mark 13:1-31, as well as explaining the issue deeper with 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 and Acts 1:6-7. The entire video if you rather is worth a watch, that is here: “Sheikh Uthman vs GodLogic | Why is Jesus The Messiah In Islam?” (https://youtu.be/F0tlPhH8tvg). The fuller video is partly about Islam’s use of “Messiah” in the Quran and Hadith. Here is part two: “Sheikh Uthman Vs GodLogic Part 2! | There Are Many Messiahs in Islam?” (https://youtu.be/4DS5twf5um0)
I kept my graphics off the upload till the end. Wanted to lift up GodLogic Apologetics... added some graphics/monikers via his site. This is a good mini-study, Scripture memory to walk people through if challenged. A favorite of Muslims, BTW.

The Nazi Nuremberg Defense for Hamas
✄✁ SNIP ✁✄ (Link to article at bottom):
....𝐓𝐇𝐄 ‘𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄’
I am a historian (like Khalidi), interested in the origins of ideas and arguments. It turns out that Khalidi’s premier talking point has a very specific genesis.
It figured in the case for the defense in the Einsatzgruppen Trial, conducted by the Nuremberg Military Tribunal from late 1947 to the spring of 1948. The Einsatzgruppen were the paramilitary death squads of Nazi Germany, which carried out mass murder by shooting in Nazi-occupied Europe. They destroyed well over a million Jews, and two million people all told. After the war, their surviving senior commanders were put on trial at Nuremberg, charged with crimes against humanity and war crimes.
The chief defendant, SS-Gruppenführer Otto Ohlendorf, had been commander of Einsatzgruppe D, which carried out mass murders in Moldova, southern Ukraine, and the Caucasus. An economist and father of five, he had supervised the killing of 90,000 Jews. Ohlendorf imagined that he had a moral conscience. The killers under his command, he told a U.S. Army prosecutor, were prohibited from using infants for target practice, or smashing their heads against trees.
During trial testimony, the prosecutor pressed Ohlendorf: “You were going out to shoot down defenseless people. Now, didn’t the question of the morality of that enter your mind?” Ohlendorf referred to the Allied bombings of Germany as a context:
■ I am not in a position to isolate this occurrence from the occurrences of 1943, 1944, and 1945 where with my own hands I took children and women out of the burning asphalt myself, and with my own hands I took big blocks of stone from the stomachs of pregnant women; and with my own eyes I saw 60,000 people die within 24 hours.
A judge immediately pointed out that his own killing spree preceded those bombings. But this would become known as the “Dresden defense,” to which Ohlendorf resorted still another time, in this exchange:
🆀🆄🅾🆃🅴
Ohlendorf: I have seen very many children killed in this war through air attacks, for the security of other nations, and orders were carried out to bomb, no matter whether many children were killed or not.
Q: Now, I think we are getting somewhere, Mr. Ohlendorf. You saw German children killed by Allied bombers and that is what you are referring to?
Ohlendorf: Yes, I have seen it.
Q: Do you attempt to draw a moral comparison between the bomber who drops bombs hoping that it will not kill children and yourself who shot children deliberately? Is that a fair moral comparison ?
Ohlendorf: I cannot imagine that those planes which systematically covered a city that was a fortified city, square meter for square meter, with incendiaries and explosive bombs and again with phosphorus bombs, and this done from block to block, and then as I have seen it in Dresden likewise the squares where the civilian population had fled to—that these men could possibly hope not to kill any civilian population, and no children.
🆄🅽🆀🆄🅾🆃🅴
Ohlendorf thought this defense so powerful that he invoked it yet another time:
■ The fact that individual men killed civilians face to face is looked upon as terrible and is pictured as specially gruesome because the order was clearly given to kill these people; but I cannot morally evaluate a deed any better, a deed which makes it possible, by pushing a button, to kill a much larger number of civilians, men, women, and children.
(The chief prosecutor, an American, called this particular iteration “exactly what a fanatical pseudo-intellectual SS-man might well believe.”)
At Nuremberg, this sort of tu quoque defense (“I shouldn’t be punished because they did it too”) wasn’t admissible. Still, in the verdict of the Einsatzgruppen Trial, the judges chose to refute it. “It was submitted,” the judges wrote, “that the defendants must be exonerated from the charge of killing civilian populations since every Allied nation brought about the death of noncombatants through the instrumentality of bombing.” The judges would have none of it:
■ A city is bombed for tactical purposes… it inevitably happens that nonmilitary persons are killed. This is an incident, a grave incident to be sure, but an unavoidable corollary of battle action. The civilians are not individualized. The bomb falls, it is aimed at the railroad yards, houses along the tracks are hit and many of their occupants killed. But that is entirely different, both in fact and in law, from an armed force marching up to these same railroad tracks, entering those houses abutting thereon, dragging out the men, women and children and shooting them.
The tribunal sentenced Ohlendorf to death. He was hanged in June 1951......

Don't Let Regret Stop You from Accepting God's Grace
The entire sermon is worth a listen (Winter Is Coming: https://youtu.be/vj1SKnbBKBs) The sermon was uploaded June 26, 2023, the pastor passed into glory November 5th. The part that stuck out to me was the part where Pastor noted this:
■ We're not guaranteed another opportunity to come to Christ. Don't wait until your life is consumed with, with regrets and missed opportunities. I deal with people like that all the time - that their life is just consumed with regrets and missed opportunities. Don't wait.
Many push off an opportunity to investigate the claims of Jesus till their life has an abundance of emotional and life choice decisions that lead to obstacles in thinking Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary is not big enough to overcome their sin. This is not the case, but it is one I think drives many to reject opportunities presented. How do you share the Love of Christ with a person to overcome this calloused sense of being before it's too late? Or, at least harder for that person to see an opportunity in what Christ has wrought on Calvary? C.S. Lewis opined well on the issue:
■ Finally, it is objected that the ultimate loss of a single soul means the defeat of omnipotence. And so it does. In creating beings with free will, omnipotence from the outset submits to the possibility of such defeat. What you call defeat, I call miracle: for to make things which are not Itself, and thus to become, in a sense, capable of being resisted by its own handiwork, is the most astonishing and unimaginable of all the feats we attribute to the Deity. I willingly believe that the damned are, in one sense, successful, rebels to the end; that the doors of hell are locked on the inside. I do not mean that the ghosts may not wish to come out of hell, in the vague fashion wherein an envious man “wishes” to be happy: but they certainly do not will even the first preliminary stages of that self-abandonment through which alone the soul can reach any good. They enjoy forever the horrible freedom they have demanded, and are therefore self-enslaved just as the blessed, forever submitting to obedience, become through all eternity more and more free.
C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain (New York, NY: Simon & Shuster, 1996), 113-114.

Removing Prayer In School Has Consequences
Just a quick one-two-punch by Prager. Prayer in schools and women's responsibility in hurting children.
■ I read that in a survey of public school teachers in 1940, the top disciplinary problems listed included talking out of turn, chewing gum, running in the halls, dress-code violations, and littering. More than a half century later, the problems teachers contend with are drug and alcohol abuse, pregnancy, suicide, rape, robbery, and assault. Teachers and administrators say that things are worse for students now than ever before. One junior high school teacher commented, “I can’t believe the things they do to themselves and to each other.” A kindergarten teacher recently told me that her five and six year old students are restless, angry, and some even have the addictive habit of cutting themselves. A grandmother told me that her grandson, whom she is raising, has admitted to having suicidal thoughts. He is ten years old. (Meridian Star, 4/21/16).

Plastic Pastors: Great Pacific Garbage Patch (Part 2)
For my post: “Plastic Pastors | Environmental Myths In the Pulpit” (https://religiopoliticaltalk.com/plastic-pastors-critiquing-an-otherwise-great-sermon/)
While I criticize some stats in the two excerpts of a sermon here, take note that both the pastor and the church involved are one of the better pastors/churches in our valley (SCV) and the whole of the message is not affected by this portion. This sermon was preached on 7-11-2010.
My main point is that when one goes to organizations that are driven by an almost eco-fascist drive or some emergent liberalism, you are going to get skewed stats. This sermon merely gives me the opportunity to critique eco-leftist ideology.
Chapter 6 of Patrick Moore’s book, “Pacific Garbage Patch,” is here: https://tinyurl.com/p78zcr5c
■ A new study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences could mean bad news for environmental doomsayers. Forget all those warnings about the million tons of plastic debris floating in the ocean. Ignore the photos that you think show the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Andres Cozar of the University of Cadiz in Spain is the man who once extrapolated the 1 million-ton estimate. Since then, however, he has led research that collected samples at 141 ocean sites. Cozar's new estimate: Between 7,000 and 35,000 tons of plastic are floating in the ocean. (The Great Pacific Garbage Patch Hoax | TOWNHALL: https://tinyurl.com/26xftfjf)

﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
... Moore’s Garbage Patch would grow in size and fame in the years that followed. The plastic-plankton soup he’d first discovered in 1997—which oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer dubbed the “Eastern Garbage Patch” or the “Pacific Garbage Patch”—gained notoriety in a 2006 series for the Los Angeles Times that won a Pulitzer Prize. Its area had doubled: Now the patch was “twice the size of Texas.” (Some reports went even bigger.) As coverage intensified—the patch’s media profile peaked between 2007 and 2009—the soup coalesced into a garbage landmass with a more official name: the “Great Pacific Garbage Patch.” In 2007, the San Francisco Chronicle called the patch “a massive, eternal, slowly swirling vortex of noxious garbage the size of a continent and the shape of death itself, just floating out there in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, mocking life, humanity, God.”
But the Great Pacific Garbage Patch has always been less substantial than it sounds, less an island in the ocean than a big idea that floats around inside our heads.
[....]
In a way, that’s the very problem the Great Pacific Garbage Patch helped to solve, when the concept was invented. Like its mirror image, the hole in the ozone layer, the patch squeezed and flattened all our worries, sequestering them in a far-off region of the globe.
That’s how and why the patch came into being, both as a fully fledged idea and a media phenomenon, at the turn of the millennium....

The Postmodernist and Religious Claims of Exclusivity (Ravi Zacharias)
(My position on Ravi is encapsulated here: https://tinyurl.com/5n8fbjs5) The longer version of this can be found here: https://youtu.be/SWM86Lu0Gd8 Here is THAT description:
■ (September 3, 2012) Ravi Zacharias responds with "precise language" to a written question. With his patented charm and clarity, Ravi responds to the challenge of “exclusivity in Christianity” that skeptics seem to think is exclusive to our faith. This is one of Ravi’s best.
Here is my slightly adapted script of this upload:
_________________________
Many people like to criticize Christianity's arrogant exclusivity, they will say that if the end result is to be good, how could I embrace a faith that claims to be the only true way?
This is the perceived problem with exclusivity. How can there be only one way to God?
The answer with the post-modernist when they raise this question of the Christian faith is that the post-modernist has not again examined his or her own question. It is not only the Christian faith that claims to be exclusive.
■ Islam claims exclusivity.
■ Buddhism claims exclusivity.
■ Sikhism claims exclusivity.
■ Hinduism claims exclusivity.
■ All religions do at some point in their philosophy.
Gautama Buddha was born a Hindu. He rejected Hinduism on two major accounts.
(1) Hinduism assumes, for example, that the Vedas are the ultimate revelation, and in that sense their inerrant scriptures. Buddha rejected the Veda.
(2) Hinduism claims the caste system on the hierarchy of human birth. Gautama Buddha rejected the caste system.
Two principal beliefs of Hinduism, the Vedas and the caste system, Gautama Buddha completely rejected. That's why even in recent times you will hear Hindu leaders sometimes getting disgruntled with Hinduism because of the caste system and the hierarchical system of human birth that is attributed to it.
Now, what did Gautama Buddha do in its place? He changed the notion of self from Hinduism into no essential self. In Buddhism he changed even the idea of reincarnation, what reincarnation actually means.
All this to say it is not true that Christianity is the only exclusive claim every major religion claim exclusivity. The Bahais are the only so-called all inclusivist, but even they exclude the exclusivists.

“Redefining ‘From the River to the Sea’ Like Saying ‘Mein Kampf’ a Coloring Book”
Quickley... off course it takes a Florida Democrat to be so bold to say this. And two, this is a must watch 2-minute video: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" -What does this mean?- 2 min Education (https://tinyurl.com/xaym3sws)
______________
(BREITBART: https://tinyurl.com/3jyxyjxf) On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) stated that he would support a censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) over “her misinformation on the hospital bombing, which, obviously, we know was not true, that she continued to spread even after intelligence came out it wasn’t true,” and for her use of the slogan “From the river to the sea,” and responded to Tlaib’s attempts to redefine the phrase by stating that “‘From the river to the sea’ means the destruction of Israel and everyone who’s in it, okay? Just like ‘Mein Kampf’ is not a coloring book and the final solution means exactly what Hitler meant it to mean.”
Host Jake Tapper asked, “Your fellow House Democrat, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, is accusing President Biden of supporting a genocide in Gaza. And she said, ‘From the river to the sea[,]’ she tried to explain this on Twitter what that call means. She’s obviously Palestinian American. She said, ‘From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate.’ I know there are a lot of people who disagree that that’s what ‘From the river to the sea’ means, given the fact that there are extremists, especially terrorists like Hamas, who use that phrase to mean, from the river to the sea, destroy Israel. What’s your view of what Rep. Tlaib is saying?”

Materialism Differs Little From Hindu Religious Positions
IN a great presentation from True U. Courage... A Short Montage
This video is uploaded for this post: “The Theme This Week? Courage & Hounds of Heaven | #GodIsGood” (https://tinyurl.com/yzwcedex)
So, I wrote a bit on Courage, I posted that topic of seeing Shelby Steele on the 19th (https://tinyurl.com/mrxabsxs). Sunday church service was the 22nd. At the beginning of the service Pastor Todd spoke about a historical trip he went on during his sabbatical. He opened with touring the "behind the scenes war rooms, planning bunkers" Winston Churchill and others used to make battle plans during WWII.... then, at the end of the service he picked up the story again and tied is into the sermon (which is what I include).
What the Apostle Paul was doing [traveling on essentially unpoliced, deadly roads for thousands of miles, having Jewish and Roman authorities looking for him, and the like -- all for spreading the Good News of Jesus] took courage.
So, in this video I cobbled together a bit of a montage:
■ The first video is the finishing of the sermon (https://tinyurl.com/27r8fpez);
■ Then a clip of Shelby Steele responding to a question by Dennis Prager regarding where Shelby gets his courage (https://youtu.be/foKDT8SKpgM);
■ Then a video of Ayaan Hirsi Ali recapping some of Shelby's points (https://youtu.be/GTydq_QXWX8);
■ Then is some Ian Rowe and Shelby Steele discussing topics of freedom and courage, as well as an audience question (https://youtu.be/s2EChHUrRwg).

Hillary's Basket of Deplorables
This should be paired with my post: "Deck O’ Race Cards: PJTV and Dennis Prager"
DENNIS PRAGER'S version:

HILLARY’S version:
■ “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

FLASHBACK: Two Clips About Same-Sex Marriage and the Abuse of Language
(The first audio clip is from Feb 21st, 2012, the second is two days later.) I have just uploaded a few “Prager Flashback’s” and the main theme of them has been how the Left distorts language to get you on their side. This combo of clips is no different. The second clip is Chris Christie smacking down WaPo’s Jonathan Capehart (More at NEWSBUSTERS: https://tinyurl.com/5yf8mz9h)
I will reproduce the Wall Street Journal article below:

𝐵𝑦 𝑊𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑚 𝑀𝑐𝐺𝑢𝑟𝑛
𝐹𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑦 21, 2012
When Barack Obama was campaigning for president in 2008, he declared that marriage is between a man and a woman. For the most part, his position was treated as a nonissue.
Now Rick Santorum is campaigning for president. He too says that marriage is between a man and a woman. What a different reaction he gets.
There's no mystery why. Mr. Santorum is attacked because everyone understands that he means what he says.
President Obama, by contrast, gets a pass because everyone understands—nudge nudge, wink wink—that he's not telling the truth. The press understands that this is just one of those things a Democratic candidate has to say so he doesn't rile up the great unwashed.
It's arguably the most glaring double standard in American life today. It helps explain why candidates with social views that are fairly conventional among ordinary Americans—the citizens of 31 states including California have rejected same-sex marriage when put to a vote—find themselves depicted as extreme. It also speaks to why even some who share Mr. Santorum's social views nonetheless fear that his outspokenness on these issues will only undermine his candidacy.
That has led some folks to suggest that Mr. Santorum simply drop these issues altogether. Their hope is that by concentrating his energies solely on Mr. Obama's management of the economy and foreign affairs, Mr. Santorum might avoid dividing his party and America. However reasonable the argument may be on paper, it is simply not practical.
It's not practical, first, because Mr. Santorum is running as what he is, a conviction politician. Having been dismissed for months by Republicans hostile to his social views, he is not likely to take their advice now. He appreciates that he did not get where he is today by trimming his sails.
Indeed, that's one reason he has now overtaken Mitt Romney as the front-runner in Michigan. Mr. Romney is behind because Republican voters have yet to be persuaded he stands for anything. Mr. Santorum is ahead because even those who might not sign onto all his social particulars are hungry for a nominee who does not bend with the wind.
Dropping the social issues is also not practical for another reason: The media won't let him. When Mr. Obama used a prayer breakfast earlier this month to suggest that the Gospel of Luke was a call for raising taxes on the wealthy, the press corps yawned. When Mr. Santorum complained about the "phony theology" behind the president's worldview, suddenly it landed on every front page and lead every news show.
So what's the answer? The answer is that when Mr. Santorum discusses these issues, he needs to fold them into his larger narrative about the free society. That narrative has to do with pointing out the dependency that comes with an expanding federal government, the importance of family, and the threat to freedom when, say, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals or a Health and Human Services secretary can substitute their own opinions on these issues for the judgment of the American people.
Mr. Santorum comes to the task well equipped. He echoes Ronald Reagan, for example, when he talks about how small government requires strong families. Or when he's pointing out the intolerance of a federal government bent on forcing religious individuals and institutions to underwrite practices (e.g., contraception and sterilization) they regard as abhorrent.
There is, however, one area where Mr. Santorum needs to demonstrate a discipline it's not yet clear he has. That is the ability to resist the efforts to drag him out of the public questions into the weeds of theological debate.
In short, Mr. Santorum must resist the temptation to run for president on "Humanae Vitae," the 1968 papal encyclical prohibiting artificial contraception. Of late the former Pennsylvania senator has pointed out that, despite his personal views, he has voted for contraceptive funding in the past. Alas, he has also said that artificial contraception is the kind of moral issue he plans to talk about as president.
These are important issues. They have large implications for society, and those few who have actually read "Humanae Vitae," as Mr. Santorum has, might be surprised to find how prophetic that document was in its warnings about the consequences of the contraceptive mentality for society, including the weakening of the marriage bond. A presidential debate, however, is simply not the vehicle for clarifying the coherence of the Catholic Church's view of human sexuality.
That doesn't mean Mr. Santorum should compromise his views. To the contrary, he needs to keep his comments simple, clear, and focused on the political point he is hoping to make. That in turn will require letting pass a great deal that he might be itching to respond to.
Mr. Santorum cannot change the double standard. With a little discipline, however, he need not let himself be defined by it.

Courage Is the Rarest of Traits
At a recent event with Shelby Steele, he repeated many times throughout the interview that people must have “moral courage”, he also said “courage.” This is something that Dennis Prager has said for many years. Here is one clip/excerpt from a longer/old YOUTUBE upload of mine titled: “Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio) Reveals His Reason Behind His Change of Heart on Same-Sex Marriage #SSM” (https://youtu.be/kDh4gZ2yaMg) from March of 2013.

FLASHBACK: Dennis Prager Debates John Aravosis about Same-Sex Marriage
Prager’s ULTIMATE ISSUE HOUR (July 5, 2011): Dennis plays clips from his appearance on Howard Kurtz’s CNN show, Reliable Sources. The issue was same sex marriage… The Casey Anthony verdict comes in during the hour. Not guilty! (I edited in HLN’s Nancey Grace’s wide-spread comment from that day). Here is more from MEDIA’ITE (https://tinyurl.com/2nsjpru6):
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
On Sunday morning’s Reliable Sources, a debate over the media’s treatment of New York’s recently passed Marriage Equality Act, between conservative radio host Dennis Prager and AmericaBlog’s John Aravosis quickly devolved into a series of tangents and interruptions that missed the entire point of host Howard Kurtz‘s question. Kurtz wondered if there was anything wrong with the news media’s “relentlessly positive” coverage of the law’s passage.
At the heart of this question lies a crucial distinction about the role of journalism, a role which the media has consistently abdicated in favor of false balance. It’s a familiar criticism; the facts overwhelmingly support one conclusion, but the media decides to also throw in a “some say the sky is actually pink” clause to balance things out. In the case of marriage equality, the question should be, did the media exercise sound judgment in its coverage? Is there a compelling “other side” to the story?
Instead, Aravosis opens with a ridiculous premise, saying that “whenever you have a political contest, and one side wins, they cover the victor.”.....
