This screech owl lived behind my house. When the young still linger, at times there would be 3 of them...just after dusk; flying almost silently in the darkness around me, with only the sound of their soft feathered wings to know their presence. The first Screech Owl that lived in that house, he flew right down on my fence when I was standing there as if to say hello.
