Meet Nariyana – an 8-year-old albino girl that is stunning modeling agencies from all over. Nicknamed the Siberian ‘Snow White’ because of her stunning pale hair and fair complexion, Nariyana lives in Yakutia, Siberia. According to her parents Elena and Albert, she is the only one with blonde hair and the first albino from both sides of the family. Local reports have described Nariyana as 'strikingly blonde and beautiful', Photographer Vadim Rufov said. “She is the most unusual person I’ve met,” Even though Nariyana has received multiple offers from modelling and advertising agencies, her mom doesn’t want her to pursue a modeling career just yet. Instead she wishes for her to focus on her childhood especially her love for dancing and drawing. She says she would prefer if Nariyana could decide for herself whether this is a path she wants to pursue. She doesn't want to be the one to push her down that path. If modelling is something Nariyana truly wants to do, she would be a great inspiration to all the kids out there who think that being different is something to be embarrassed ashamed about. You go, girl! Keep shining like the bright star you are!
This is Pam Pam, the kitty with the most mesmerizing eyes ever. See for yourself , but don’t look at them for too long or you might never be able to look away again! The reason Pam Pam’s eyes look like this is because of a condition called heterochromia iridis. It’s characterized by abnormalities in the iris, and those affected by the condition have one eye with a different color than the other. Another type of the condition, called segmental heterochromia, causes different colors in the same eye. Heterochromia can be caused by inbreeding, genetic inheritance, or mutation, and in some breeds of cats, like the Turkish Angora, heterochromia is a desirable trait that breeders try to maintain. Inherited heterochromia iridis is harmless, and it can be found in both animals and humans.

The scene playing out in the video here is just heartbreaking. Soul crushing. Demoralizing in ways that make even the most callous parts of your personality ache. Clearly, these dogs were best friends. Living on the streets, struggling as strays, they formed a bond that’s not easily broken – that is, until a car comes along and runs one of them over.

Despite the mounting odds stacked against their unborn conjoined twins, Eric and Elysse Mata chose to put their faith in God. They knew that the challenges they were up against were going to be tough, but they made the decision not to terminate the pregnancy as doctors suggested. Connected by their chest wall and several internal organs, Knatalye Hope and Adeline Faith spent the first 10 months of their lives closer than most siblings will ever know. When surgeons at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, agreed to help separate the 10-month-old twins, their parents wanted nothing more than to give them a fighting chance. And the fact that the girls each had their own individual hearts, despite being fused from their hips to their rib cages, gave surgeons hope. After a team of 12 surgeons spent 26 hours separating the twins, the girls have made extraordinary health strides. They are walking, talking and learning to be independent each day. The Mata family was finally able to move back home after temporarily moving into a trailer with older brother Azariah to be closer to the hospital. Five months after the surgery, the girls got another surprise: A baby sister named Mia Love. Clearly the family is doing well and the twins are thriving! Congratulations on a blessed surgery Knatalye and Adeline!
They knew something was wrong the minute she was born. Seeing their child for the first time was something alarming indeed. Joe and Jennifer McGillis were not prepared to see the large lump under the newborn daughter Sloan’s left eye. Turns out, there was reason to worry after all. Sloan was born with a rare condition. The growth was determined to be benign, but that didn’t mean it was normal. It also meant that, over time, it would continue to grow, distorting the child’s face. Luckily, the McGillis’ found a surgeon who said he could help. For Sloan, this meant an incision right below her eye, and along her nose. The doctors were wary for several reasons – the baby’s age, the closeness of the cutting to the facial muscles and nerves, and the inevitable healing. There was also a possibility of the tumor coming back. If they were going in, they wanted to get it all and get it all NOW. The operation took five hours. Doctors were able to remove MOST of the growth and Sloan would have to return for at least two more surgeries to get the rest once she gets older. For now, the family is doing fine, and for one little girl, the outlook is a lot brighter.
Three-year-old Brynn Munger is one of the strongest warriors imaginable. At the tender age of one, her family noticed that her left eyelid began to droop so they got her in to the family doctor right away. But the news wasn’t good and Brynn was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor behind her eye. After several more rounds of radiation, the persistent tumor returned for a third time, prompting surgeons to remove the two-year-old’s eye. With her upcoming third birthday approaching, her mom Danielle wanted to make her daughter feel extra special, so she reached out to doll maker Jessica Sebastian to create a one-of-a-kind doll just like Brynn. When Jessica heard Brynn’s story, she was incredibly touched to be part of something so “meaningful.” She worked nonstop to create a stuffed white bunny with one eye and a sparkly gold tutu so that Brynn could receive it in time for her birthday. When the big day came and she opened up her present, Brynn couldn’t contain her excitement. “Sparkle has one eye!” and “She’s like me!” Brynn said. The response to Jessica’s creation has been overwhelmingly positive and she said she’s got enormous respect for the superhero that Brynn has become. You go, girl! Keep shining like the bright star you are!
While out on a hike through an Oregon trail, photographer Corey Hancock came across an unconscious black baby bear cub clinging to life. Seeing the unresponsive cub lay in the grass motionless, as the rain began to pour down on its belly, Corey knew he just had to do something. He scooped up the baby bear and ran to his car, fearful that the mother bear would hunt him down. The cub suddenly stopped breathing once they got to his car, so he performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. After posting about the bear on Facebook, someone from the Turtle Ridge Wildlife Rehab said he could drop the bear off there to be rehabilitated. They gave the cub fluids and warmed its body temperature up and he seemed to be responding well. Corey decided to name him “Elkhorn” after the area he was found in. Although Corey is being considered a hero by many, park officials say it’s not advisable to remove a bear from its natural habit because there’s a chance the mother could be coming back. Corey also risked going to jail for removing a wild animal and a $6,000 fine. Thankfully Oregon State Police said they weren’t going to press charges since Corey had good intentions when he removed Elkhorn.
Wherever she goes, tiny Bella Cole stops strangers in their tracks. Not only is she absolutely adorable, but eight-month-old Bella has the most gorgeous full head of hair imaginable. Her glossy dark locks command the attention of everyone who passes her by on the street, in the grocery store and at the park. Her mother Philippa Rabbitts, 27, said not a day goes by where Bella isn’t stopped at least five times a day. “People genuinely think she’s a doll when they see her,” Philippa said ‘I always get asked if she’s wearing a wig, and if her bunches are stuck on.” Philippa says that strangers often say her daughter reminds them of a doll. Bella’s petite frame might give them reason to say so, too. Although she currently weighs just 11 pounds, Bella has been growing normally from the time she was born and weighed just over four pounds. To rule out any unforeseen health issues, though, Bella’s family will have her genetically tested. For now, Bella is content with all of the attention she receives, not to mention having her luxurious hair brushed by her mom and dad. Like this story? Be sure to Subscribe for more.

This is 85-year-old Jimmy, who looks like a sweet old man – but don’t get fooled by his smile, because he hides a dark, deep, and lethally cute secret. He was raising a bunch of kittens behind his wife’s back, even after she said ‘no’. “My grandpa felt for the stray cats and would leave food in the back of the house near his tool shed, a spot where my grandma doesn’t go,” his granddaughter, Syl, said. “This particular cat was especially friendly and got attached to my grandpa.” The cat happened to be pregnant. Jimmy knew his wife was against having kittens around. However, he felt he had to help her, even if that meant going undercover and doing something clandestine… So, after the kittens were born, Jimmy placed them inside his shed. Time went by, and his wife was still unaware of any feline presence in their premises. 3 weeks into Jimmy’s undercover operation, the wife did find out that their shed was turned into a cat nursery. However, her heart seemed to have softened once she saw the kittens. Now she’s ok with the kitties staying until they’re old enough to find a loving forever home. Well done, grandpa!
Elena Desserich was about to turn Six when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her diagnosis was not good and her parents were told she only had 135 days to live. A year later, she was gone. During her brief time waging war with the disease, she wanted her parents to be prepared for the inevitable. She wanted to leave them with as much peace as possible. What she did became a testament to her love and her affection for her family. Little did her parents know that Elena was preparing a final gift for them. While she was undergoing grueling chemotherapy and radiation treatments, the child was writing little notes for them. Sometimes, the sentiment was as simple as “I love you.” Other messages were more personal. Hiding them around the house, she hoped they would be found after she was gone. They helped her family cope. As a matter of fact, they found the material so helpful they turned it into a book entitled Notes Left Behind. Now Elena can help hundreds others with her idea. Talk about leaving a lasting legacy. We would like to extend to you our heartfelt condolences. May our Lord comfort your loved ones.

Parents Victoria Baldwin and Adam Dyson may no longer be together, but one tradition remains: their annual family photo shoot. The former couple, who were married for three years before divorcing in 2015, are parents to 4-year-old Bruce. Baldwin, a professional photographer who is also in the military, now lives in Alaska, while Dyson lives in South Carolina, but the exes reunite each year for a touching photo. Baldwin says she was inspired to continue their annual family photo shoot after realizing that she doesn’t have any pictures from her own childhood that include both of her parents, who were also divorced. This special tradition they share with their son Bruce, and the touching story behind it has gone viral after Baldwin shared it on Love What Matters, a Facebook news outlet. Over 1500 shares and 15k likes later, the whole world is being moved by the dedication this former couple shows, a powerful sentiment in a society where divorce is often sensationalized and family bonds devalued.
Lara and Mara Bawar are not your average supermodels, but their striking appearance is sending shockwaves through the fashion industry. The 11-year-old twins from São Paulo, Brazil, have albinism, a condition that causes a lack of skin and hair pigment, and they embrace it to the fullest. In 2016, the Bawar twins’ unique pale features caught the eye of Swiss photographer Vinicius Terranova, who now lives in São Paulo. As a personal project now known as Flores Raras (“rare flowers”), Terranova photographed the twins – as well as their older sister, Sheila, who does not have albinism – to showcase how truly beautiful diversity can be. These identical twins have been holding hands since before they were born...and as it turned out, they needed to help each other to survive. When Hayley Lampshire learned she was pregnant, her excitement was dampened by a scary scenario. Since the twins share one amniotic sac, they were in danger of strangling or starving each other if their umbilical cords became tangled. Doctors said the babies would have to stay as still as possible to survive. Hayley and her husband were encouraged each time they went for a sonogram to see their boys were holding hands and cuddling. Rowan and Blake Lampshire were born at 34 weeks weighing 4 pounds each, and 5 months later, they are doing pretty well and are still holding hands.
A babysitter didn't just watch the child in her care, she potentially saved her life. Kiersten Miles took a job with the Rosko family last summer to care for their 10-month-old baby Talia. The child was on the organ transplant waiting list to receive a new liver because she was born with a disease that can cause liver failure. Kiersten says it didn't take her long to become attached to Talia, a sweet child who she says is always happy despite her health problems. After she learned she shared the same blood type as Talia, Kiersten wanted to see if she could be a match. Testing showed she was and she offered to go through with the surgery in which she would donate part of her liver to Talia. It's been a few weeks after the surgery was successfully completed. Kiersten and the child's mother says they are both recovering very well. Talia's family are so grateful for Kiersten whom they say is not just a sitter but now a member of the family.
A grieving mother who spent 16 days with her dead baby after she died of a rare condition is raising awareness. When Charlotte Szakacs and her husband, Attila, learned their unborn daughter, Evlyn, had a rare chromosome abnormality, they were devastated. For a month, Evlyn was hooked up to machines to stay alive. As Evelyn's health deteriorated, her parents had to make a hard decision - watch her die in hospital sorrounded by machines or peacefully in hospice. The couple chosed the later and spent 16 days with Evelyn after she passed. Evelyn stayed in a temperature controlled cob and the parents took her for walks. Charlotte claims that time helped her emotionally. She says what she did isn't the best option for everyone but those last days spent with her daughter made all the difference.
