I BROKE the LAW I SAVED a SQUIRREL
This was filmed on 15 October 2023. Please watch my video-clips To SAVE WILD ANIMALS is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE in SWEDEN or the video consisting of all 13 parts. They are all about saving a baby squirrel. A SWEDISH law forbids people to save wild animals, it goes like this: you may feed, shelter, have in your care a wild animal for 48 hours. During this time you are obliged to look for a licensed person who can take over. It can be difficult, there are not many licensed persons in Sweden and the few ones that exist have too much to do or do not answer the phone - surely not on week-ends. These 48 are soon over and what are you supposed to do then?? KIll the animal? How? Or put it back where you found it? The law gives you no information about this. - Do this instead: when you find an animal in need try and find information in books, the internet, friends or a vet with some experience might help. Follow these instructions, get the animal well again or raise it until it can survive outside and then release it. DO NOT KEEP IT AS A PET!
BREAK THAT STUPID LAW !
I saved the squirrel in this video three years ago. He has become wild and is thriving!

To SAVE WILD ANIMALS is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE in SWEDEN All 13 parts
All 13 parts have already been uploaded on my channel. Now I show those 13 clips in one film. To learn more please read the comment on part 1 and part 13. You need to know about this unconsiderate, unethical and cruel law. And I want to encourage everybody to BREAK it. Save animals, save them all. They are dying out, they suffer, they do not find enough food and places to shelter, to raise their young......they need our support. LEARN about these animals so you can really help them. Just like I did.
The little sqirrel has become such a wonderful healthy guy. I see him every day. More videos will follow.

To SAVE WILD ANIMALS is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE in SWEDEN Part 13
This was filmed on 16 November 2022. The little guyl I saved in 2020 has become a healthy magnificent grown-up squirrel !
I want to encourage everybody to break this unconsiderate, incomplete and stupid law. Help these animals. Get information in books or the internet or friends. Do this in secret. No authority here in Sweden will find out because they do not check out whether this law is followed. They only harass and control me.

To HAVE MORE than 9 CATS is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE in SWEDEN (2)
This was filmed on 24 July 2020. - You might find this title appaling and I MUST EXPLAIN .- I myself have had more than 9 cats and have been punished severely for this "crime". (Watch the following videos to understand that I do not exagerate). THIS LAW EXISTS. You can apply for a permit to have more cats. Cat-breeders apply for such a permit and usually get it. I am not a cat-breeder but a VETERINARY SURGEON. As a vet I may have/shelter/treat as many cays as I can manage. There is NO LIMIT. Most of the cats that I "had" were my patients, they had been spayed/neutered and treated for physical diseases but were still with me for rehab/socializing. In Sweden such a treatment is neighter known nor acknowledged. So in 2016 the court decided that the cats at my home (59 at that time) were my private ones, I had no permit to keep so many. Consequently I was severely punished and represented as a true criminal ("brott mot djurskyddslagen").
It did NOT MATTER that all cats were well-fed and well cared for. This never mattered to the authorities (länsstyrelsen).
In 2016 I still had a permit to have 25 cats, a permit I was given in 2006 by another authority.
That was an eyesore for the authorities of 2016. They were obsessed in destroying what I do for homeless cats. They still are and NOBODY can understand why.
There aim was to take this permit from me AND to take my vet license, their methods to succeed have been despicable.
In upcoming videos I shall explain.
In this particular video from 2020 I show a male neutered cat brought to me to be euthanized because he was "agressive". He actually needed treatment for a tumor in his ear and was not neutered. I treated and kept him. He soon became a sweet, affectionate and loving cat. He became friends with the kittens I had at that time, like a father, their mother did not mind at all. This mother (the black one) was brought to me in advanced pregnancy. If I had not taken her she would have delivered her kittens somewhere on the streets where she was living.
I found new owners for the kittens, my neighbours officially adopted the two grown-up ones.

I Dance to Michael Jackson She Is Out Of My Life
This was filmed in 2004. I was 52 years old at that time. I am 71 today and still dancing but I avoid certain moves that are an extreme strain on the joints as you can see in this video. Anyway to be able to dance like that at 56 is rather amazing as it is amazing to be able to dance even when you are much older. My message is this: keep moving, dance and have fun!

Another Feral Cat Family Saved
This was recorded on 12 June 2016.The mother was caught using a trap. The kittens could be taken by hand as they were still very small. I took them in as I have plenty of room in my house that I also use as a clinic. I am a veterinary surgeon. I spayed the mother. The family stayed with me untill I found new homes for all of them. - This is just one of very many cats that I saved. If I had not been ready or able to interfere ...... just imagine. - Don't write any rude comments, I shall remove them.

Two Tiny Kittens That Survived A Caesarean Section
I am a veterinary surgeon dedicating my life to saving cats, unwanted, abandoned, abused ones. These two kittens would have died along with their mother if I had not offered help without delay. - I have two old farmhouses in the middle of the Swedish woods where I can give these cats shelter, food, medical care and a lot of love. I also try to find new owners for them, I am not a cat-collector! Check my other videos about cats if you like.
Lions and Vultures and Tracks and more in Maasai Mara
I own a camp in Maasai Mara, Kenya "Camp Olkonoi". This is what I filmed on a safari from my land-cruiser. - This is not an unusual sight in Maasai Mara, Kenya. Vultures do a very important job. They eat what lions, hyena and other bigger predators leave behind. Nothing is wasted. - Youtube chose to ban this video, so it cannot be seen on my Youtube channel Gabriele Meurer. - This video shows more animals from Maasai Mara: lions and impala. We find a dead lion cub in a small river that was probably attacked and wounded by a buffalo. It might have been dragged into the water where it drowned. May-be Youtube found this appaling. I film tracks of lions and hyena. I film my male domestic cat that I kept at my camp. More lions and a lioness with her two cubs. The dead one was one of hers.

19 New Feral Cats to Handle
In this video I do not show all these 19 cats. Some of them were hiding, some I kept in another room.
I am a veterinary surgeon dedicating my life to saving, sheltering, feeding, treating unwanted, abandoned, abused cats. I can do so because I have the skills and houses - two old farmhouses in the middle of the Swedish woods. I neuter and spay them and I give them an id (tattoo in left ear or microchip). I let them stay inside my homes in rooms where I can handle them until their wounds after spaying are healed. I treat them against parasites and diseases. Most feral cats as the ones in this video are healthy. When they are ready I release them: back where they came from or unto my own premises or I give them over to new owners. I am NOT a cat-collector! I do NOT breed cats! The method I use is called TNR: Trap. Neuter, Release and mine can be called TNR de Luxe.
These cats would have been shot or killed in another cruel way if I had not accepted them.
Cats And Kittens That I Saved
I am a veterinary surgeon dedicating my life to save unwanted, abandoned, abused cats. The two black ones I saved by caesarean section - there is a video about this on my Youtube channel - I spayed their mother at the same time, she later did not accept her kittens. They were adopted by another mother - the red one - which had kittens of her own. Even this cat got pregnant because the owner had not prevented this. And of course he did not want the kittens. So the whole family ended up with me. I found new homes for all kittens, spayed the mother and returned her to her owner.
I own two old farmhouses in the middle of the Swedish woods, they are a perfect home for such cats. I shelter, feed, take care, treat and give a lot of love to these animals. I DO NOT BREED cats and I am not a cat-collector. I do all this with my own money working hard as a veterinary surgeon.
Video Control of Spayed and Neutered Feral Cats
I am a veterinary surgeon dedicating my life to save unwanted, abandoned, abused cats. Even feral cats get help, I do not kill them - as is recommended by Swedish authorities - but spay and neuter them, give them an identity (tattoo in left ear or microchip) and offer them a new home using my two old farmhouses in the middle of the Swedish woods when I cannot release them in the place where they were found and trapped. I have plenty of room that is suitable inside my houses or as in this video inside my big barn. In order to know whether these cats are doing fine I put up cameras at the places where I feed them, so called camera-traps. As you can see these cats look well fed and healthy.
I finance all this with my own money working hard as a veterinary doctor.

Wild Pigs and Cats Live in Harmony
I am a veterinary surgeon dedicating my life to saving unwanted, abandoned, abused domestic and feral cats. I spay and neuter them and give them new homes. Some of them stay with me. They are free to do as they like, I do not keep them imprisoned inside my house. As I live in the middle of the Swedish woods encounters with wild animals cannot be avoided and are actually welcome. See for yourself: my cats are not scared by these wild pigs. They accept each other. My wild pigs eat their corn, my cats eat their cat food, there is no competition and fighting for food. They live in harmony with each other!
