For more than ten years, NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) has been constantly observing the Sun. It's been circling in space around the Earth, taking 425 million very detailed pictures of the Sun. All these pictures have added up to 20 million gigabytes of data collected in the last 10 years.
