Pivot Your Home - Part 5
Today we’re looking at a text calls us to Pivot our Homes. But maybe you say, my home is perfect so I don’t need this…The perfect model home is the trinity! Not your pastor, not an author, not an actor, not your parents. The pivot point is to live like an ambassador in your home so that others will see and follow Jesus. Relationships are challenging. So, As you Pivot…
Pro tip #1-Look at the trinity as the model home.
Pro tip #2-Live like an ambassador not a home owner.
Ambassadors have more responsibilities than expectations.

Pivot your Reactions - Part 4
We’re studying I Peter and being challenged to Pivot from the normal way of living to a new way in Christ. When someone takes something from you, says something bad about you, cusses at you, hurts you, or just gets on your nerves, how do you react? Some are Passive, Aggressive, or Passive Aggressive. Grace is an active gift of truth and humility. It sees the truth of the injustice and at the right time and place, Grace sheds light on the truth. Not as a Reaction but as an action toward reconciliation. Because of Jesus’ example, we need to pivot our Reactions from getting justice to giving Grace.

Pivot your Citizenship - Part 3
We’re in I Peter 2, and by God’s providence, we’re looking at a text that is so necessary for where we are in our country today. On Wednesday, we watched as hundreds of protestors broke into the capital building causing damage to the building, while hurting and killing people that stood in their way. Some claimed that this was something God wanted them to do. What Biblical response would you have for civil disobedience? We need to pivot our citizenship and be an ambassador from heaven to our country, state, and town!
Soul Pivoting - Part 2
Most times, it’s our soul that needs pivoting and God has given us the instructions to get there. We often try to change the material things while the immaterial parts are left untouched. I would suggest that the immaterial part is often what stops our growth. So today, I want to talk about Soul Pivoting.
The Unprecedented causes us to Pivot - Part 1
The year that Jesus died and rose again was an unprecedented year that caused many to pivot, and certainly, Peter was one. 2020 was an unprecedented year and we must pivot in our love. This is not a time for division, but a time for unity under Jesus’ love for us. This is not a time for confusion, but a time of clarity through God’s precious Word! This is not a time for politics, but a time for the precious blood of Jesus We need to pivot toward Jesus in every part of our lives. Are you hurt, sick, confused, angry? PIVOT to Him
Pivot Your Blessings - Part 6
Each Pivot Point comes back to I Peter 2:11 – “We are soujourners and exiles” or said slightly different, ‘we are ambassadors’. We are living here temporarily and we are on assignment from God. So, we need to pivot from living as a citizen to living as an ambassador.
He is calling all of us to Pivot our Blessings. Our greatest blessing is that God loves us and sent Jesus to be our Savior. We are chosen by the Father, set apart by the Spirit, and redeemed by the Son
Who do you need to be a blessing to? How will that affect them if you refuse to be a blessing? And how will it affect you if you quench your calling?
