In today’s show, Mark is on the ground with multiple guests outside of the Ohio State House during the vote on SJR-2. In short, this resolution would require a 60% vote instead of a simple majority to approve any constitutional amendment. If you are a current listener of the show, you will know that we have been speaking out and actively trying to stop the Ohio Constitutional Amendment that is coming down the pipeline in November, allowing abortions up to birth, as well as gender reassignment surgeries for children. While the passing of SHR-2 only authorizes a special election in August to raise the threshold to 60% to amend the Ohio Constitution, if passed, it increases the chance of failure of the abortion amendment in November. We want to protect the lives of unborn children, whether that is changing the minds of students on campus, or enacting legislation in government. A student at Wright State University expressed concern that showing abortion victim photography on campus was not Christlike. This student however was actively violating explicit scripture in the form of fornication. We all sin and fall short of the Glory of God, but we are instructed to strive for righteousness, and then lead others to do the same. You cannot be knowingly active and sin, and simultaneously call out sin.

A pro-abort fanatic professor shut down our college outreach LED screen (you helped us purchase this, by the way). Police were called and the woman was arrested. But not without going into hysterics, all the while being cheered on by a mob of foul-mouthed students. I was concerned that the mob would shut us down after the police carried the screaming professor off site. None of our team members flinched. No one asked me whether we should leave. No one surrendered their post. All stood firmly in their defense of the unborn and their determination to do all they could to convince their peers that abortion is a grave injustice and a crime against humanity.
