Russia has announced it is suspending its involvement in the internationally-brokered deal that allows Ukraine to export grain from its Black Sea ports. It comes after Russia accused Ukraine of a "massive" drone attack on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Crimea. Ukraine has not admitted the attack and President Volodymyr Zelensky called the Russian move "rather predictable". Without providing evidence, Russia also accused British troops of being involved in Saturday's attack. It also accused the UK of blowing up gas pipelines last month. Italian government officials are thought to have prevented hundreds of migrants from disembarking rescue vessels in Sicily. The charities running the boats say some of those onboard were rescued from the sea more than two weeks ago and are living in difficult conditions on the boats. In addition to these samples collected by Japanese labs, the IAEA says it's going to collect its own samples to verify the Japanese findings. The government of Japan plans to release radioactive water from the nuclear plant that's been building up now for over a decade because space is running out. The radioactivity in the water will have been significantly diluted. The IAEA is going to review whether the plan to discharge the water complies with international safety standards. Taking part in the project are two staff from the IAEA Environment Laboratories in Monaco, as well as one expert each from labs in Finland and South Korea.

Brazilian President-Elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva promised to unite a divided country on Sunday after defeating incumbent Jair Bolsonaro in a runoff presidential vote.
