I was trying to catch some big bass and was simply run off this particular oxbow for the second time. Actually, I encountered a cottonmouth moccasin soon after and let him get too close. I caught 9 bass on a Pfluger Supreme and a home made "Red Headed" Lucky 13. It was my grandpa's reel he bought in 1949. McHenry Creek Lunker Guy just having fun.

In 2018, I set a world's record. I caught a lunker bass 19 trips in a row. (4lbs or larger is a lunker where I come from) I'm at it again. I have caught 6 in a row as of 11-12-20. I've caught 8 during this span, 2 over 6lbs. Oh yeah, I caught them all from a kayak!
