Former American television host Kathie Lee Gifford is a multi-talented performer best known for her role as the co-host of “Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee” as well as her stint with NBC’s “Today”. Over the years, this multiple Emmy nominee sunk a considerable amount of her television paychecks into some significant real-estate investments and one of the first she ever secured for herself was an 11,419-square-foot property in Florida’s, Key Largo. Kathie picked this place up back in 1998 for $3.9 Million. Located in what’s known as the Ocean Reef Club -- Kathie’s home is part of an exclusive community for the very rich -- one that started off as a fishing camp in 1948 and developed into a neighborhood with two 8-hole championships golf courses, a swimming lagoon, a marina, its own fire station, and a fully staffed medical center.

Angela Lansbury | House Tour | $4 Million Brentwood Mansion & More

For television superstar Angela Lansbury, the home was all over the world. Long before she’d passed away at the age of 96 in the comfort of her Brentwood, Los Angeles home, Angela owned a series of estates across the United State and even in her home country of the UK as well. Decades before we’d come to know her as Jessica Fletcher in the incomparable “Murder, She Wrote”, New York City played an important role in Angela’s life. Her family first moved here in 1940 to escape the London Blitz during World War II and she stayed with family on the Upper East Side while working her way through drama school. Much, much later on in life – sometime around 2006 -- Angela would return to New York City has transformed herself into a superstar and the apartment she’d bought there in her golden years would come to, in many ways, save her life – or at the very least, vastly improve it. And yet, to see the place for yourself, you’d probably consider it to be nondescript. Sure, it’s got some attractive chairs and tables, but this two-bedroom apartment doesn’t raise any eyebrows with its common hues of dark wood and beige. Even the vines that hang over her balcony, styling-up an otherwise constricted view of other nearby buildings, are made out of plastic. Located one block South of Central Park, Angela purchased this apartment three years after the death of her husband, Peter Shaw, and at that time, she was spending far too much of her attention puttering around the garden in her Brentwood, Los Angeles home. Knowing that she needed to get moving again, she decided to move back to New York and get a place of her own.

After living in the same mansion for about 40 years, Boy George has decided to move on from the place – listing it for sale at about $19.5 million. Located in the Hampstead neighborhood of London, England, the singer’s historic estate has been completely revamped and expanded during his many years living here – now featuring about 5,500 square feet of space and 6 bedrooms. While we can assume that George will be looking for a new living situation in the UK – where he hails from – we also know that when he’s across the pond in Los Angeles he usually shacks up at the home of his manager PK Kemsley and his wife, Dorit Kemsley – who stars on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And, for those fans of the reality series you may have already known that!

This Bird Can Kill Any Kind of Snakes - Secretary Bird
These birds are famous for hunting down the most venomous of Snakes, as no Snake can survive their deadly beaks and stomping technique. A bird of prey native to sub-Saharan Africa can deliver precise and powerful kicks with a force five times its own body weight; enough to kill venomous snakes in less than the blink of an eye. The secretary bird stands over 4 ft. tall on long, crane-like legs. Unlike most birds of prey that swoop down from the air to make a kill, the secretary bird hunts its quarry mostly on foot. Its method for dispatching its prey by stamping on it is distinct from other raptors that typically use their beak to kill after catching their prey with their talons.
