President Trump speaks at Faith and Freedom Coalition 2017
President Trump Speaks At Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference on June 8, 2017.
For too long, politicians have tried to centralize authority among the hands of a small few in our nation’s capital. People are getting very rich. Bureaucrats think they can run your lives, overrule your values, and tell you how to live.
But we know that families and churches, not government officials, know best how to create a strong and loving community. We know that parents, not bureaucrats, know best how to raise children and create a thriving society. And above all else, we know this: In America, we don’t worship government. We worship God.

President Trump’s Remarkable Warsaw Speech
President Trump speaks in Krasinski Square in Warsaw, Poland, July 6, 2017.
Western civilization faces threats. Foremost among them is the heir to Nazism and communism. The "oppressive ideology" of radical Islam, Trump said, "seeks to export terrorism and extremism all around the globe." There are also "powers that seek to test our will, undermine our confidence, and challenge our interests"—namely Russia but also, farther away, China and North Korea. Finally, there is "the steady creep of government bureaucracy that drains the vitality and wealth of the people" and overrides their sovereignty.
How to respond? Material wealth, martial glory, and technological achievement are all necessary to sustain a nation. But they are not sufficient. What matters more, Trump said, is national spirit. In fact, the word "spirit" occurs no fewer than seven times in the address. There are also several mentions of related ideas such as "confidence" and "will."
What Trump is saying is that the future of the liberal democratic West depends on the non-liberal-democratic institutions from which we derive our values: family and faith.
"We put faith and family, not government and bureaucracy, at the center of our lives."
"The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive. Do we have the confidence in our values to defend them at any cost? Do we have enough respect for our citizens to protect our borders? Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who would subvert and destroy it? We can have the largest economies and the most lethal weapons anywhere on Earth, but if we do not have strong families and strong values, then we will be weak and we will not survive."
Trump doesn't just want victory over ISIS. What he is calling for is nothing less than a reinvigoration of national spirit, of confidence, of pride in America and her allies. "Our own fight for the West does not begin on the battlefield—it begins with our minds, our wills, and our souls."

Melania Trump Reads Kid's Book on Easter 2020
Melania Trump kept one of the White House’s longest Easter traditions alive on Sunday on April 13, 2020, even as the nation remained on pause during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“Since we are not able to celebrate the traditional Easter Egg Roll on the grounds of the White House this year, I want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Easter, and read one of my favorite children’s books,” Trump said at the video’s start, before launching into a reading of The Little Rabbit.
The 2019 children’s book, by author/illustrator Nicola Killen, tells the a story of a friendship between a little girl and her stuffed rabbit, who magically comes to life. Images of the book’s pages filled the screen of the White House’s video, as Trump read the sweet story via voiceover.
“I hope you’re able to enjoy this special holiday,” she said at the video’s conclusion. “Be sure to take care of yourselves and each other.”
Also on Sunday, the first lady tweeted out a message to her followers online.
“This #Easter Sunday, I send greetings to all Americans and their loved ones as we come together to reflect on the importance of family & faith,” she wrote. “May God bless our great nation!”

“This is 141 years that we’ve been doing this,” Trump said, addressing the crowd from the Truman Balcony, where he was joined by first lady Melania Trump before they came downstairs to mingle with guests on the South Lawn.
“I don’t remember the first one,” Trump joked of the tradition that began in 1878 under President Rutherford B. Hayes.
“Oh, it’s happening. It’s being built now,” Trump said at the table. “There’s a young guy just said, ‘Keep building that wall.’ Do you believe this? He’s going to be a conservative someday.”
The president also talked about the economy and the military, telling the crowd on a sunny morning that “Our country is doing fantastically” and that he is rebuilding the armed forces “to a level we have never seen before.”

President Trump and the First Lady Host the White House Easter Egg Roll 2018
Trump welcomes crowd to White House Easter Egg Roll on April 2nd, 2018. Trump went on to tell the kids that this is a special year.
"Our country is doing great," he said. "Look at the economy. You look at what's happening. Nothing's ever easy, but we have never had an economy like we have right now and we are going to make it bigger and better and stronger.
"Our military is now at a level, will soon be at a level, that it's never been before. ... The funding of our military is so important and so many military people are with us today."
Take a minute to watch it. Note how he refers to the White House as “an incredible house, or a building, or whatever you want to call it, there really is no name for it”. No name for it? That’s weird, I thought it was called the White House. Then he concludes his thought: “it’s special, and we keep it in tip top shape. We call it sometimes ‘tip tap shape'”.

Trump Braveheart - Fake News CNN Sucks
Hilarious Trump Braveheart Meme - CNN Sucks
CNN pretends to be objective. They will tell you they don’t have a dog in this fight. They will tell you that they are just delivering the news with no political bias. They will tell you they they are just delivering the facts with no agenda.
They’re lying. And the American people get it.
The American people don’t mind a news organization with an agenda, they just don’t like being lied to. Because when you lie to them, and the lie is so obvious, then the message received is “You’re too stupid to know any better.”
And the American people are not stupid. They know what CNN is. And CNN knows what they are. But CNN won’t admit it.
So the chants will continue, until CNN makes some changes.
As long as they have their reporters turn on a dime and provide commentary and analysis on the story they were just “reporting,” the chants will continue.
As long as their media analyst reports that unnamed journalists are discussing the “president’s fitness” when “the microphones are off” and uses that anonymous assertion as the hook for a round table discussion on whether Trump is nuts, the chants will continue.
So the chants will continue.
