A catastrophic drought has pushed communities to the brink of famine in the Horn of Africa region displacing nearly 1 million people in the country. Most of the internally displaced live in difficult conditions in urban and peri-urban settings with very low chances of returning home as the region faces its worst drought in 40 years.

Multiple compounded crisis have increased the challenges facing refugees and internally displaced populations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
