Nest full of baby birds
Before we were able to use our hammock this summer it was taken hostage by a pair of Wrens. They worked very hard building this wonderful nest. Of course, we kept it on the porch so as not to disturb their nest-building activities and we were blessed with four little baby birds that you can see here. The best part about this is that I work from home and move my home office to the porch on nice days. So the parents became quite used to both of us being right near them. It almost seemed as though they would also say hello. We were able to also be out there when they took their first flight...but did not catch it in a video. Maybe if they return next year we will be better prepared.

Flower Garden & Bird Background
A quick peek at our late spring flower garden in our backyard. If you turn the sound on you can relax a little with the calming sounds of various birds all around. This was taken early in the season, so many had not yet bloomed. However, you can see it started off really well with some absolutely beautiful flowers. We ended up planting a lot more with the intention of having many more for next year. We will be sure to get a video to share for next season as well. Until then, hope this is as relaxing for you as it was for us the entire season. Enjoy!

A Man and His Pup
Prior to our hammock being taken hostage by our Wren family of birds, we were able to put it out once real quick and I was able to capture this little gem of him and our pup enjoying a nice spring evening with a tasty beer. Better yet, if you turn to volume up you can relax even more to one of our favorite music channels to listen to...a little Raggae goes a long way.
