Spiritual Maturity is Measured by the Image of Jesus life reflected in us and through us. And Like Jesus it is marked with a Mindset of Ministry for the Good of others, and a Goal for Glory to God..

"In Essentials-we are to have unity, in Non-Essentials -we are to have Liberty, in ALL THINGS we are to have Charity” Paul gives FOUR Admonitions for those who live their Christian lives with wider liberties that we have in Christ. Two Admonitions for those who live under a great Restriction of Conscience. The purpose is not so much about the "specifics" what what one has the freedom to do or not to do, as staying the course with an Attitude of Receiving One Another and Looking out for One Another with we feel the tension of our differences in these matters.

Jesus pointed us to the Essence of the Law Love God Supremely (Love Vertically -towards God) and Love Others Sincerely (Love Horizontally -towards one another)

Paul is pointing out in clear and direct terms is being a citizen of the kingdom of heaven, does not negate our responsibility to be good citizens under the human authority. Christian is called to pursue godliness not lawlessness, Peacefulness NOT Chaos!

Jesus told His disciples in Luke 6:27 “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” But we are instinctively Reactionary and Retaliatory! That Christianity IS IMPOSSIBLE! Without have a Renewed Mind, an Empowered Spirit and a Heart that has been Captivated by the Cross!
