The Mayyas (Arabic: مَيّاس) are a Lebanese female alternative precision dance group who won the 17th season of America’s Got Talent. They were awarded the Lebanese Order of Merit for their performance and the President of the Republic congratulated the group on their victory, saying that they “planted hope and light in all our hearts”. The Mayyas also received the Golden Buzzer (top prize) in the competition from judge Sofía Vergara. The company has 36 dancers, and their choreography is created by Nadim Cherfan.
