Once again our intrepid wakeupeiRe reporter Edel captures the concerns of local residents at yet another influx of military aged men into their small community. Yet Gardai and other public servants remain steadfastly AGAINST the Irish People in the protection of foreign, undocumented and unvetted men flooding into the country. Ireland says NO. When will they listen?

Our intrepid volunteer Edel asks the questions MSM won't ask. Eamonn Ryan who suggests we should cull thousands of Irish cattle and bring in beef from Brazil instead as a way of 'saving the planet'. Meanwhile he suggests we should live off lettuce grown on our window sills. Eamonn Ryan who runs away from the 'hard' questions. The same Eamonn Ryan who appears to have traded in his petrol people carrier for an e-people carrier. Where does he think the energy comes from to charge it? Eamonn runs away from those questions too.

Local wakeupeiRe volunteers passed out information leaflets on the upcoming 'family and care' referendums on 8th March 2024. A great response from locals and passers by who stopped to have a chat at Trim Castle and the local shopping area. So it's a definite NO vote from Edel and the volunteers and also from the vast majority of the lovely Trim locals they met during the day.
