Lyrics:
Well I was sitting at a roadhouse down on Highway 41
You were wiping off some ketchup on a table that was done
I knew you didn't see me I was in a corner booth
Of course, you weren't my waitress mine was missing her front tooth
So I flagged you down for coffee but I couldn't say a thing
But I'm in love with you baby and I don't even know your name.
I'm in love with you baby
I don't even know your name
I've never been too good at all those sexual games
So maybe it's just better if we leave it this way
I'm in love with you baby and I don't even know your name
So I ordered straight tequila a little courage in a shot
And I asked you for a date and then I asked to tie the knot
I got a little wasted
Yeah I went a little far
But I finally got to hug you when you helped me to my car
The last thing I remember I heard myself say
I'm in love with you baby and I don't even know your name
I'm in love with you baby
I don't even know your name
I've never been too good at all those sexual games
So maybe it's just better if we leave it this way
I'm in love with you baby and I don't even know your name
The next thing I remember I was hearing wedding bells
Standing by a woman in a long white lacy veil
I raised the veil she smiled at me without her left front tooth
And I said where the Hell am I and just who the Hell are you?
She said I was your waitress
And our last name's now the same
'Cause I'm married to you baby and I don't even know your name
Yeah I'm married to a waitress
I don't even know her name
I've never been too good at all those sexual games
I never thought my love life would quite turn out this way
Hey I'm married to a waitress and I don't even know her name
Get me out of here!

Lyrics:
She'd rather wear a pair of cut-off jeans
Than a fancy evening dress
And with her windows rolled down
And her hair all blown around
She's a hot southern mess
She'll take a beer over white wine
A campfire over candle light
And when it comes to love
Oh her idea of, a romantic night
Listenin' to old Alabama, drivin' through Tennessee
A little dixieland delight at the right time of the night
And she can't keep her hands off of mee!
And now we're rollin' down an old back road
I got the steering wheel in one hand
We'll find a hideaway where she and I can play
In mother nature's band
Now we're listenin' to old Alabama
Parked somewhere in Tennessee
A little dixieland delight and it feels so right
And it's love in the first degree ee ee!
Forget about Sinatra or Coltrane,
Or some ol' righteous brothers song
And Barry White ain't gonna work tonight
If you really wanna turn her on
Play some back home come on music
That comes from the heart
Play something with lots of feeling
'cause that's where music has to start
Now we're listenin' to old Alabama
And we're drivin' through Tennessee
A little dixieland delight and it feels so right
And its love in the first degree
Yeah' you know we're listenin' to old Alabama (old Alabama)
Drivin' through Tennessee (Tennessee)
A little why lady why at the right time of the night
Oh and she can't keep her hands off of mee
Oh, play me some old Alabama
Oh, play me some old Alabama
Won't you play me some old Alabama
Oh pla ee ay ay, yee haw!
So the one you loved just left you for another
And your down
Or you lost your job and you need a drink
You look around and start to think
That no one understands what you been through

Lyrics:
Last night I dug your picture out from our old dresser drawer.
I set it on the table and I talked to it till four.
I read some old love letters right up to the break of dawn.
Yeah, I've been sittin' alone, diggin' up bones.
Then I went through the jewelry and I found our wedding rings.
I put mine on my finger and I gave yours a fling
Across this lonely bedroom of our recent broken home.
Yeah, tonight I'm sittin' alone, diggin' up bones.
I'm diggin' up bones, I'm diggin' up bones,
Exhuming things that's better left alone.
And I'm resurrecting mem'ries of a love that's dead and gone.
Yeah, tonight I'm sittin' alone, diggin' up bones.
And I went through the closet and I found some things in there,
Like that pretty lingerie that I bought you to wear.
And I recalled how good you looked each time you had it on.

Lyrics:
"East Bound And Down"
East bound and down load it up and truck it
We gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
I'm east bound just watch ol' Bandit run
Keep your foot hard on the pedal son never mind them brakes
Let it all hang out cause we got a run to make
The boys are thirsty in Atlanta and there's beer in Texarkana
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes
East bound and down load it up and truck it...
East bound and down load it up and truck it...
Ol' Smokey's got them ears on he's hot on your trail
He ain't gonna rest till you're in jail
So you got to dodge 'im and you got to duck 'im
You got to keep that diesel truckin'
Just put that hammer down and give it hell
East bound and down load it up and truck it...

Lyrics
We used to chase that Chattanooga freight
Couple of kids in a Chevrolet
Catch a little air when we cross the tracks
Sipping on something from a paper sack
You hang your shirt on that maple limb
Slipping through the moon to the river bend
Wasn't very long I was jumping in, jumping in
I guess I'm still doing now what I was doing then
Chasing you like a shot of whiskey
Burning going down, burning going down
Chasing you like those goodbye taillights
Headed west to anywhere out of this nowhere town
Chasing that freedom, chasing that feeling that got gone too soon
Chasing that you and me, I only see in my rearview
Hell, I'm laying here tonight holding someone new
Still chasing you, still chasing you
You always used to talk about LA
I heard you got as far as Santa Fe
Well you know I tried to track you down
I only got as far as get Guitar Town
Singing about a girl I used to know, used to know
Well you should know that I haven't given up
I'm just on your radio
Chasing you like a shot of whiskey
Burning going down, burning going down
Chasing you like those goodbye taillights
Headed west to anywhere out of this nowhere town
Chasing that freedom, chasing that feeling that got gone too soon
Chasing that you and me, I only see in my rearview
Hell, I'm laying here tonight holding someone new
Still chasing you, still chasing you
Chasing you like a shot of whiskey
Burning going down, burning going down
Chasing you like those goodbye taillights
Headed west to anywhere out of this nowhere town
Chasing that freedom, chasing that feeling that got gone too soon
Chasing that you and me, I only see in my rearview
Hell, I'm laying here tonight holding someone new
Still chasing you, still chasing you
Still chasing you, still chasing you

Lyrics:
My Maria don't you know I've come a long, long way
I been longin' to see her
When she's around she takes my blues away
Sweet Maria the sunlight surely hurts my eyes
I'm a lonely dreamer on a highway in the skies
Maria, (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)
Maria, (Oh Maria I love you girl, Maria) I love you
My Maria there were some blue and sorrow times
Just my thoughts about you bring back my piece of mind
Gypsy lady you're a miracle work for me
You set my soul free like a ship sailing on the sea
She is the sunlight when skies are gray
She treats me so right lady take me away
My Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)
Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, Maria) I love you
My Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)
Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, Maria) I love you
My Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)
Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, Maria) I love you
My Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)
Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, Maria) I love you
My Maria (Oh Maria I love you girl, oh my Maria)

Lyrics:
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, but what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
I laughed at love 'cause I thought it was funny
You came along and you moved me honey
I've changed my mind, this love is fine
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
Kiss me baby, ooh, feels good
Hold me baby
Well, I'll still love you like a lover should
You're fine, so kind
Got to tell this world that you're mine, mine, mine, mine
I chew my nails and I twiddle my thumbs
I'm real nervous but it sure is fun
Come on baby, you drive me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
Well kiss me baby, ooh, feels good
Hold me baby
Well, I'll still love you like a lover should
You're fine, so kind
Got to tell this world that you're mine, mine, mine, mine
I chew my nails and I twiddle my thumbs
I'm real nervous but it sure is fun
Come on baby, you drive me crazy

Lyrics:
Give me a word
Give me a sign
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Lay me on the ground
Fly me in the sky
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
Love is in the water
Love is in the air
Show me where to look
Tell me will love be there
Teach me how to speak
Teach me how to share
Teach me where to go
Tell me will love be there
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
Give me a word
Give me a sign
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Lay me on the ground
Fly me in the sky
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
I'm gonna let it shine
I'm gonna let it shine
Heaven send a light, let it shine on me
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Heaven send a light, let it shine on me
It's gonna shine on
Shine on me
Its gonna shine on
Well come on and shine

Lyrics:
Another night slowly closes in
And I feel so lonely
Touching heat freezing on my skin
I pretend you still hold me
I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you
I can't believe you're gone
You were the first, you'll be the last
Wherever you go, I'll be with you
Whatever you want, I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone
To lay your heart and head upon
Remember, after the fire, after all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame
Watching shadows move across the wall
I feel so frightened
I wanna run to you, I wanna call
But I've been hit by lightning
Just can't stand up for fallin' apart
Can't see through this veil across my heart, over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first, you'll be the last
Wherever you go, I'll be with you
Whatever you want, I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone
To lay your heart and head upon
Remember, after the fire, after all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame
I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you

"Shine" would remain the band's most well-known song and a hallmark of 1990s alternative rock. It became the number one Album Rock Song of 1994 and won a Billboard award for Top Rock Track.[1] The song also reached the top of the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart for eight weeks. The song then went on to peak at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 for one week.[2] VH1 would later rank "Shine" at number 42 on their list of the "100 Greatest Songs of the '90s".

Lyrics:
Give me a word
Give me a sign
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Lay me on the ground
Fly me in the sky
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
Love is in the water
Love is in the air
Show me where to look
Tell me will love be there
Teach me how to speak
Teach me how to share
Teach me where to go
Tell me will love be there
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
Give me a word
Give me a sign
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Lay me on the ground
Fly me in the sky
Show me where to look
Tell me what will I find
Oh, heaven let your light shine down
I'm gonna let it shine
I'm gonna let it shine
Heaven send a light, let it shine on me
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Heaven send a light, let it shine on me
It's gonna shine on
Shine on me
Its gonna shine on
Well come on and shine

Lyrics:
Turn it up!
Yeah!
I'm working hard, you're working too
We do it every day
For every minute I have to work
I need a minute of play
Day in day out all week long
Things go better with rock
The only time I turn it down
Is when I'm sleepin it off
Turn up the radio
I need the music, gimmie some more
Turn up the radio
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
Now listen!
I want to shake, I want to dance
So count it off a'one two three
I feel the beat, I'm in a trance
No better place to be
Daytime nightime, anytime
Things go better with rock
I'm goin' twenty four hours a day
I can't seem to stop
Turn up the radio
I need the music, gimmie some more
Turn up the radio
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
Turn up the radio
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
Turn up the radio
I need the music, gimmie some more
(Yeah!)
Turn up the radio
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
(Wah!)
Turn up the radio
(Come on!)
I need the music, gimmie some more
(Everybody)
Turn up the radio
(Turn it up!)
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
(Whoo!)
Turn up the radio
(Turn it up!)
I need the music, gimmie some more
(Gimmie some more)
Turn up the radio
(Whew! Come on)
I want to feel it got to gimmie some more
(Gimmie all you got!)

(In Memory of Mike Kennedy) George Strait Amarillo By Morning Drum Cover (4K)
#GeorgeStrait #AmarilloByMorning #MikeKennedy #DrumCover
Mike was one of a kind as a person and one of the best country drummers in the business. The drumming community took a hard hit with the passing of Mike as he was a household name when it came up as top drummers. He played drums for George Strait for nearly 30 years. He will never be forgotten nor, will his musical talent. The country music genre is still in shock and speaking for myself only, I'm still in shock and to keep his memory going, I recorded this video in memory of Mike Kennedy. RIP Mike!
This one was one attempt, one shot, and one take and, it may or may not be right on. Enjoy!

Lyrics:
Amarillo by morning, up from San Antone
Everything that I've got, is just what I've got on
When that sun is high in that Texas sky
I'll be bucking at the county fair
Amarillo by morning, Amarillo I'll be there
They took my saddle in Houston, broke my leg in Santa Fe
Lost my wife and a girlfriend somewhere along the way
Well I'll be looking for eight when they pull that gate
And I hope that judge ain't blind
Amarillo by morning, Amarillo's on my mind
Amarillo by morning, up from San Antone
Everything that I've got, is just what I've got on
I ain't got a dime, but what I got is mine
I ain't rich, but Lord I'm free
Amarillo by morning, Amarillo's where I'll be
Amarillo by morning, Amarillo's where I'll be

Lyrics
I remember standing on the corner at midnight
Tryin to get my courage up
There was this long lovely dancer in a little club downtown
I loved to watch her do her stuff
Through the long lonely nights
She filled my sleep
Her body softly swaying
To that smokey beat
Down on Mainstreet
Down on Mainstreet
And the poolhalls, the hustlers, and the losers
Used to watch em through the glass
Well I'd stand outside at closing time
Just to watch her walk on past
Unlike all the other ladies
She looked so young and sweet
As she made her way alone down that empty street
Down on Mainstreet
Down on Mainstreet
Oooooh
At sometimes even now, when I'm feeling lonely and beat
I drift back in time and I find my feet
Down on Mainstreet
Down on Mainstreet
Down on Mainstreet

Led Zeppelin – Houses Of The Holy - Drums Only
Led Zeppelin – Houses Of The Holy - Drums Only (Joey McNew)
@LedZeppelin #LedZeppelin #HouseOfTheHoly #PhysicalGraffiti #DrumsOnly #JoeyMcNew
Here's a classic from Led Zeppelin that I haven't played in nearly 20 years and only heard a few times since. This is for education only and also a request that I recorded and thought that I had lost during the Google account hack back in July of this year. It's probably not right on as Bonham had his own style. Enjoy! Joey.
Artist: Led Zeppelin
Release date: February 24, 1975
Producer: Jimmy Page
Time3:58
Label: Swan Song Records
Genres: Heavy metal, Hard rock, Rock and roll, Progressive rock, Blues-rock, Folk rock, Funk rock
Physical Graffiti is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released as a double album on 24 February 1975 by the group's new record label, Swan Song Records.
The band wrote and recorded eight new songs for the album in early 1974 at Headley Grange, a country house in Hampshire, which gave them ample time to improvise arrangements and experiment with recording. The total playing time covered just under three sides of an LP, so they decided to expand it into a double by including previously unreleased tracks from the sessions for the earlier albums Led Zeppelin III, Led Zeppelin IV, and Houses of the Holy. The album covered a range of styles including hard rock, progressive rock, rock 'n' roll, and folk. The album was then mixed over summer 1974 and planned for an end-of-year release. It was delayed because of the sleeve, which was designed by Peter Corriston and featured a theme around a tenement block in Manhattan, New York City.
Physical Graffiti was commercially and critically successful upon its release and debuted at number one on album charts in the UK and number three in the US.[2] It was promoted by a successful US tour and a five-night residency at Earl's Court, London, and has since been viewed as one of the group's strongest albums and the artistic peak of their career. The album has been reissued on CD several times, including an expansive 40th-anniversary edition in 2015. Physical Graffiti was later certified 16x platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2006, signifying shipments of over eight million copies.

Lyrics:
Let me take you to the movies
Can I take you to the show
Let me be yours ever truly
Can I make your garden grow
From the houses of the holy, we can watch the white doves go
From the door comes satan's daughter, and it only goes to show, you know
There's an angel on my shoulder, in my hand a sword of gold
Let me wander in your garden and the seeds of love I'll sow you know
So the world is spinning faster are you dizzy when you're stoned
Let the music be your master will you heed the master's call
Oh Satan and man
Said there ain't no use in crying 'cause it will only, only drive you mad
Does it hurt to hear them lying?
Was this the only world you had? oh oh
So let me take you, take you to the movie
Can I take you, baby, to the show
Why don't you let me be yours ever truly
Can I make your garden grow, you know

Led Zeppelin – Houses Of The Holy - Drum Cover (Joey McNew)

Here's a classic from Led Zeppelin that I haven't played in nearly 20 years and only heard a few times since. This is for education only and also a request that I recorded and thought that I had lost during the Google account hack back in July of this year. It's probably not right on as Bonham had his own style. Enjoy! Joey.
Artist: Led Zeppelin
Release date: February 24, 1975
Producer: Jimmy Page
Time:3:58
Label: Swan Song Records

Lyrics: Luke Combs Forever After All
A cold beer's got 12 ounces
A good truck's got maybe three hundred thousand
You only get so much until it's gone
Duracells in a Maglite
A needle drop on a 45
Are the kinda things that only last so long
When the new wears off, and they get to getting old
Sooner or later, time's gonna take its toll
They say nothing lasts forever
But they ain't seen us together
Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes
Just a t-shirt in the kitchen
With no make-up and a million
Other things that I could look at my whole life
A love like that makes a man have second thoughts
Maybe some things last forever after all
FM station on the outskirts
Blue jeans after years of shift work
All fading out like I always knew they would
The strings on this guitar
The first love lost on a young heart
Those things are gonna break after the getting's good
'Cause the new wears off and they get to getting old
Yeah, sooner or later, time's gonna take its toll
They say nothing lasts forever
But they ain't seen us together
Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes
Just a t-shirt in the kitchen
With no make-up and a million
Other things that I could look at my whole life
A love like that makes a man have second thoughts
Maybe some things last forever after all
Well, they say nothing lasts forever
But they ain't seen us together
Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes
And I know there'll be that moment
The good Lord calls one of us home and
One won't have the other by their side
But heaven knows that that won't last too long
Maybe some things last forever after all
After all

Previously recorded on 7/6/20.
"You May Be Right" is a single written and performed by rock singer Billy Joel from his 1980 album Glass Houses. The song reached #7 on the US charts and #6 in Canada. It failed to chart, however, in the UK unlike his preceding and succeeding singles "All for Leyna" (UK #40) and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" (UK #14). The Japanese single features "Close to the Borderline" as a B-side.
"You May Be Right" can also be found on disc 2 of Billy Joel's Greatest Hits - Volumes I and II and Live at Shea Stadium: The Concert albums. The song begins with the sound of broken glass.

Lyrics:
Friday night I crashed your party
Saturday I said I'm sorry
Sunday came and trashed me out again
I was only having fun
Wasn't hurting anyone
And we all enjoyed the weekend for a change
I've been stranded in the combat zone
I walked through Bedford Stuy alone
Even rode my motorcycle in the rain
And you told me not to drive
But I made it home alive
So you said that only proves that I'm insane
You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
Turn out the light
Don't try to save me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right
Remember how I found you there
Alone in your electric chair
I told you dirty jokes until you smiled
You were lonely for a man
I said take me as I am
'Cause you might enjoy some madness for a while
Now think of all the years you tried to
Find someone to satisfy you
I might be as crazy as you say
If I'm crazy then it's true
That it's all because of you
And you wouldn't want me any other way
You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
It's too late to fight
It's too late to change me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right
You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
Turn out the light
Don't try to save me
You may be wrong for all I know
You may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
You may be wrong but you may be right
