These strange little creatures crawl all over on the BACK!

I want to come back in my next life as one of my animals. They have it so good.

All my animals are enjoying the cool weather and sunshine on this beautiful spring day!

As Deerick, our rescue axis, gets farther along in her pregnancy she likes to hang out close to the house. Maybe a little too close.

This poor guy was being tortured by my cat, Extra Kitty.

Check out what Deerick the deer does when he comes across a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He eats it!

Fawnzie was trying to get Otto to play!

Fawnzie has been spending quite a bit of time in the creek and NOT in the backyard this week!!! Apparently Deerick isn’t too thrilled when she comes back home. 😂 (And yes, Deerick is pregnant AGAIN)

If Deerick sees an open door she takes full advantage! Unfortunately she is not potty trained. 😑🤦‍♀️😫

Fawnzie the fawn is VERY curious about Otto the cat! This could be the start of a beautiful friendship!

Deerick the rescue axis was trying to get some attention from this kitty. However, the cat was NOT in the mood. Too funny!

My rescue axis Deerick has had three fawns. This was her second.

I took my herd (3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 axis deer) for a long hike the other day. They all LOVE to hike! The deer usually linger behind me but every once in awhile they catch up and want a treat!

Cornelius and Otto have been together since they were a month old! They play pretty hard, but they also love to snuggle every so often.

Cornelius is a bottle fed puppy that need a little more love after a bottle.

Pinto the doxie is not amused by Cornelius’ antics. Cornelius is 8 months and Pinto is 10.

Otto the kitten REALLY wanted Cornelius the pup to play! Unfortunately Corny was played it for the moment and need a nap.

Deerick and Fawnzerlla (axis deer) are alerting me to something in the creek that is frightening them.

Extra Kitty (yes, that’s his name) doesn’t quite understand the big “puddle” inside the house. He is an outside cat that is slowly enjoying being inside during these colder months. Priceless!

Fawnzerella the rescued deer really wants Cornelius the dog to play with her. You gotta give her an A for effort!

Extra Kitty has a little cold and Cornelius thinks his kisses will make it all better!

Cornelius and Otto have been raised together since their were born. They often play together still, but Otto the cat is losing interest as he gets older!
