Man card Stuff and some 1 reload 1 drills

Cold Man Card attempt and some holster work at 10 yards

This was part of several drills rolled into one. This portion is Run 50 yards then Shoot 50 yards Repeat. 2/3 IDPA steel.

Working on a new drill. From the holster fire one round, go to slide lock, reload fire one round in 3 seconds or less. At 25 yards in 2/3 IDPA steel. It’s HARD! But it’s a goal.

Adding distance and stress to Man Card pistol and rifle work.

This is an example of what I do daily just to stay smooth and maintain what I have or to work on problem areas or maybe try something new before burning ammo on it. Dry Fire is Essential to maintaining your skills.

More work on the Man Card

So far my best time on the 1&1 12/14/23

I'll be working on this drill for the next year along with a handful of other officers. Next December we will meet at the range and see who gets to keep their Man card.

Ez just makes this stuff up on the fly

This month I work on getting out of the holster and getting a round on target in 1.5 seconds or less at 7 yards.

Did some dry fire at lunch time trying out the free PAR app that I loaded onto my iPhone. Had it set for 3 seconds on this drill. Draw, aim press, reload and back on target in 3 seconds or less is the goal here.
