There's a toilet themed restaurant in Taiwan and it's quite disturbing
Would you eat dinner sitting on the toilet? Ever dreamed of drinking from a urinal or sipping a hot chocolate from a toilet shaped mug? You can do this and more at the quirky Modern Toilet Restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan's vibrant capital city.
The menu here is anything but subtle - with some seriously questionable items to choose from. All food is toilet themed and comes out shaped like scarily real turns, be it the bread, the ice-cream or the meatballs with a very disturbing yellow sauce for extra measure! Would you eat here?

Artist Shocks Woman With Surprise Portrait Painting From Memory
I was sitting on a beach outside of Taipei city, Taiwan watching a street artist paint incredible portraits with just a simple brush and his hand. When we arrived he has just painted over his previous piece of artwork, covering the paper with black paint and starting all over again.
As we sat down and started watching him a little closer, my friend felt the painting was starting to look more and more like here. I did not see it at first, because the last thing on my mind would be that this guy would be painting one of us!
There were hundreds of people watching and we had literally just sat down seconds before he started painting. He was also not looking in our direction very often and his entire face was covered. It seemed like he was painting a portrait of a woman with glasses from memory.
When the portrait was finished, after about 2 minutes of paint splashes and finger painting, we could not believe how much it looked like my friend. Could this be coincidence?
Then the anonymous painter, who does not reveal his identity nor ask for money at any stage, takes my friend by the hand, leads her to the portrait and everyone realises it's her and starts clapping and my friend laughs and takes a bow!
Such an incredible moment - so glad I had my camera out to capture it! I would love to go back some day and see who else he paints and what their reaction to his surprise portraits is!
Have you ever seen a street artist like this that can paint incredible portraits in under 2 minutes, keeps his identity a secret and doesn't even ask for payment or donations? There were not too many buskers or street artists in Asia so coming across this man was a big surprise.

Rush Hour on Safari - Baby Elephant Emerges From The Bush
I filmed this last July while on an elephant safari in Sri Lanka. We had been driving through the National Park for almost an hour and still had not seen any animals. We were craning our neck out of the vehicle for ages, searching for elephants hiding in the bush.
Suddenly we spotted this Mama elephant in the bush to the right and got very excited. Mama elephants are extremely protective of their babies so our guide stopped the safari truck, and about 10 safari trucks had to stop behind us causing a mini rush hour / traffic jam inside Minneriya National Park. Next thing we saw her slowly crossing the road, closely followed by her adorable baby. We all sat in amazement watching them cross, careful not to be too loud or too get too close for fear she could charge us.
It was such an incredible moment to witness in person. Elephants are the best!
This park is home to one of the largest Asian elephant populations in the world - over 200 elephants living in one park! You can often see up to 80 of them at once down at the watering hole, especially during dry season. It can be difficult to spot the elephants at first as there are such dense shrubs and trees everywhere. However, once you see one elephant, you will usually see the entire herd. After this amazing elephant crossing, we saw about 50 elephants all gathered together, walking down to the lake to wash themselves and drink some water. It's best to go there early in the morning (if you want to see leopards) or at sunset to watch elephant bath time. The babies are the cutest when washing themselves, splashing water all over the place. If you want to see wild elephants like this, Sri Lanka is the place to go!

Dogs Of The Caribbean - This Tropical Island Is Overrun With Cute Dogs
Caye Caulker is an island in Belize, in Central America, mainly known for its snorkelling, backpacker haven and great diving. However, it's also an island that has a huge population of stray dogs. While some dogs on the island have owners, mist roam the sandy streets freely or live at the Caye Caulker Dogs Shelter - run by just one man!
When I visited Caye Caulker last year, I couldn't believe how many dogs there were so I started recording them with my GoPro every time I saw a cute dog. the island is tiny and there are no cars allowed, just sandy streets, a few bicycles and pure paradise.
The dogs here blissful such a happy life - it's so evident how happy they are in paradise.

Crazy Pink Lakes In Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico
A short drone video I made at Las Coloradas, famous pink lakes in Yucatan, Mexico. The contrast between the white sand, turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the pink water was incredible.
These lakes are located at the northern coast of the Yucatan peninsula on a stretch of land which separates the Gulf of Mexico from the lagoon Ria Lagartos - which is also a nature reserve home to the largest population of pink flamingos in the world. The same thing that turns this water pink, turns flamingos pink!
Huge salt evaporation ponds for sea salt extraction lie on this stretch of land, some of them showing peculiar pink colors due to micro organisms, like the pink lagoon Laguna Rosa. Flamingo and bird watching is common here, close to a bioreserve Rio Lagartos.
The lakes are about 4 hours drive from Cancun, so a fun day trip. You can't actually swim in there but they are fun to photograph, especially from a birds eye view if you have a drone!

There's a Unicorn Cafe in Bangkok That Will Give You A Multicoloured Sugar Rush!
I've travelled to Bangkok many times and have already seen most of the top tourist sites. When I heard about this Unicorn Cafe I knew I had to check it out. What I saw when I entered was WAY crazier than what my wildest rainbow and unicorn dreams could have imagined. It is colour overload. There are unicorns hanging from the ceiling. You can even rent your own unicorn onsie. The food is all pink and purple and blue and walls are totally psychedelic. The food is pure sugar but it really is the most delightful place!
