Walking a creek through a 1950-70's dump site. Seeing what we can find.

Winter creek walking adventure. Found some 1950's-70's bottles and other knick knacks at an old dump site. Part 1 of a 4 part series. From December of 2020.

Went out to a local park for a quick hunt with my Minelab Equinox 800 and the 6 inch coil. I only had a few hours so I wanted to mainly focus on finding clad in the normal well used areas. See how close to large metal objects the 6" coil can get and still discriminate coins. I also found a cool surprise. On cold days when you are stuck inside and can't be out metal detecting, go through your things and start cleaning them up. I have found some rusty beer and soda cans over the years and decided to try the lemon juice method to see how it does on the rust. I believe the end result was worth it.
