#ildronista #findyourway #cinematic
Il 2020 è stato un anno estremamente particolare per ognuno di noi.
Quello che abbiamo compreso è che, tutto ciò che ritenevamo una certezza fino a ieri, oggi non lo è più.
Cosa sei disposto a perdere?
Cosa sei disposto a fare?
Alla ricerca di una certezza.
Alla ricerca di una identità.
Corri verso confini sconosciuti prima che gli eventi decidano per te.

Drone video - ROCCA CALASCIO
Rocca CalascioThe Castle of Rocca Calascio is a mountaintop fortress or rocca in the municipality of Calascio, in the Province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy.
At an elevation of 1,460 metres (4,790 ft), the castle is the highest fortress in the Apennines. Built of stone and masonry exclusively for military purposes and intended only to accommodate troops and never as residence for nobles, the fortress overlooks the Plain of Navelli at one of the highest points in the ancient Barony of Carapelle.
Santa Maria della Pietà and the Castle of Rocca Calascio.
Construction of the fortress started in the tenth century as a single watchtower. A walled courtyard with four cylindrical towers at the corners around a taller inner tower was added in the thirteenth century. The lower half of the fortress is built with distinctively larger stones than its upper half. It is believed that this feature was to make its base impenetrable to invaders. The fortress was never tested in battle. However, it was badly damaged in November 1461 by an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 7 to 8 on the Richter Scale.[1] While the town of Calascio, which lies below the fortress, was rebuilt, the fortress was not.
The Castle of Rocca Calascio lies within the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park and alongside the high plain of Campo Imperatore.

Italy drone land - ESCAPE
Castel di Tora & Rocca Sinibalda
Italialand - ESCAPE
The village of Castel di Tora is located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Rieti and has rightfully entered the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. This fabulous medieval village is located in an area where the urbanization and pollution of the city have not yet arrived. Immersed in an uncontaminated landscape on the shores of Lake Turano, it is surrounded by dense woods and dominated by Mount Navegna.
The history of Castel di Tora is quite ancient and dates back to the year 1000, a period in which it is mentioned for the first time in documents of the time. At that time its name was Castelvecchio (Castrum Vetus) and together with Antuni (Castrum Antuni), it passed from Lombard domination to that of Brancaleoni and Mareri until it was annexed to the Papal State.
Over the centuries it underwent the domination of various families and was part of different families until, after the unification of Italy, it assumed the current name of Castel di Tora. If already in the thirties of the twentieth century the construction of Lake Turano took away fertile land, pushing most of its inhabitants to emigrate, the bombings of the Second World War reduced the population even more, so much so that now the residents do not reach the three hundred units.

Castello Rocca Sinibalda
Located 70 km east of Rome, the Castle of Rocca Sinibalda is one of the most fascinating Italian castles. Listed as a National Monument, it has been standing since the 1Oth century on a spur of rock overhanging the Turano Valley.
Its current appearance comes from a bold zoomorphic design by the Renaissance architect Baldassarre Peruzzi: a powerful military fortress doubling with a sumptuous aristocratic palace. Also, a majestic eagle with its folded wings; or, more likely, a weird and sinister scorpion.

Drone Video - LITTLE TIBET
#drone #littletibet #abruzzo
Campo Imperatore is without a doubt one of the wonders of Abruzzo! Also called the "little Tibet", it is a plain, at almost 1,800 meters of altitude, that the slow disappearance of the glaciers has made it particularly sweet in the forms. From here you can see the Gran Sasso, the "Roof of the Apennines": the mountain of Abruzzo par excellence, dominated by the Corno Grande from its four summits.
The Campo Imperatore plateau is the largest in Italy: about 20 km long and 3 to 7 km wide, with its endless pastures it has always been used for the summer pasture of herds and flocks. Also due to the numerous floristic and faunistic peculiarities and for its interesting geological and geomorphological aspects, it represents a fundamental part of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
You can reach it going up from Assergi, to the Fossa di Paganica pass, from the medieval village of Castel del Monte, to the pass of Capo la Serra or from Farindola to Vado di Sole.
The "little Tibet" offers numerous hiking trails, to be covered on foot, by bike or on horseback. And if you are fond of cross-country skiing, given the excellent snowfall at this altitude, you just have to choose between the track in the territory of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, near Lake Racollo, the slopes of Castel del Monte at the eastern end of the plain of Campo Imperatore, between the Piano di Cretarola and the Fonte Pietrattina, and the ring of the three lakes that runs along the edge of the plateau.
