Summer is such a lovely time of the year. The sunshine, blue skies, long days, and hot weather are all welcome after a long winter. However, nothing says summer like a cold, refreshing beverage. Drinking a cold drink on a hot day is our perfect combination. When you think of most reptiles, each species has their own defining, recognizable qualities. For example, geckos have charming smiles. Wait what? Geckos are nocturnal in the wild, hiding from fierce daytime heat in burrows and under rocks. In captivity, they will burrow when overheated and shy away sometimes from bright lights. Well, not this brave little guy! This adorable footless gecko grabs a hold of a cold and refreshing Sprite and treats himself to a few sips! Interesting fact about Geckos is that they store fat and water in their tails. We guess this little guy stores <a href="https://rumble.com/v2zfx2-drawing-realistic-sprite-bottle-.html" target="_blank"> Sprite</a> in his tail for the hot summer days! So amazing to see him so up close and not be afraid of humans! As summer temperatures hit, here is a very important tip: Drink enough water to prevent thirst and stay well-hydrated.
