The next battle in sequence is post argument with your friends against some of Ravness's allies I guess? Vyce and Ravness are both pissed off at you for making the decision to murder everyone. Denam proceeds to burn the town after the battle. I'm still confused as to how burning a city full of people is the righteous thing to do on the Lawful route but whatever.

This is the first time in the game where you get to choose which route: Lawful or Chaos. It's a decision between killing all Galgastani or betraying the Duke and it seems strange that the lawful path is to murder an entire city of people. That's what I'm going with however. Vyce doesn't like this and now becomes your rival. The battle is unmemorable.

This is the first encounter for the Beastmaster Ganpp. Bro has a sick fuckin profile picture. Pretty easy fight if you just go for him as he's pretty weak. I like killing everything else first though as I like to try for a chance to get the stat upgrades.

This time we're fighting Sir Grion. This guy seems mostly generic with generic enemies, not much to say here. We start with a cutscene talking with Sir Lanselot a little about his wife and how fear is normal and stuff.

Here we're taking a trip back to Almorica Castle to talk to the duke about the next move. He has us going to Balamamusa to try and start a revolt with the people to use them as an army for Denam. Ravness joins temporarily.

Time to sit down and have a talk with the leader of the Dark Knights of Lodis, Lanselot Tartaros. The Dark Knights remain neutral in the war and the learn that Denam and Catiua were there the night of the torching of Golyat.

Now we get to face off against Moldova's Master, Nybeth the Necromancer. This battle takes a bit too long because you either have to rush to Nybeth or slowly Exorcise the undead.

In this fight you have the option to save Cistina to recruit her later on. This fight vs Bolis the Knight isn't particularly difficult but can be sort of random due to Cistina blindly running into a group too early. You have to get the healers in quick to save her.

Generic battle facing off against Brezen the Swordfighter.

Here in Almorica Castle we have a battle meeting discussing going to Phidoch Castle, stronghold for the Dark Knights.

Here we're fighting Moldova the Necroprentice. You can choose to let Abuna Donnalto die and recruit Felicia instead afterwards. In this case I opted to save and recruit him along with Sir Leonar, Sara and Voltare.

First real battle with no hand-holding. Canopus joins the fight and Vyce talks some shit. You can choose to not recruit him but can miss out on possibly the best character in the game.

Another tutorial fight, this time without all the talking. You fight Agares, the last of the troops defending the Duke. You now get to name your clan afterwards and start battles for real.

Tutorial fight against Bapal the Mercenary.
