The Xtool D1 Ten Watt Lazer was the selection I made for my wood shop, not only is this a great laser but it also can be upgraded in the near furture to a 20 Watt laser using the same base machine. This video has lots of little tips in it, with examples of what can be done by a Beginner at CNC work, There are great sources for learning more about cnc.
