Westport Shuffle - The Dance from Jeffrey's Shack
It's the good old Westport Shuffle! I wrote this song in 1996 and thought it would be fun to record it again with the full Downeast All Star band.
Walking In Portland - Frank Norwood
Inspired by the dude ahead of me during my lunch time walk last week. He was walking along in a self-generated cloud. I could only speculate on his situation, but he seemed extremely happy. But I suspect somewhere someone was crying.

Frank Norwood - A Singer-Songwriter with a Podcast. It's a one-man variety show cobbled together with all the care of a welded up Moose replica you'd find Downeast. From a distance it'll look like a moose, but up close you'll see the antlers are from the kid's old bicycle and the body is from Aunt Esther's Dodge Dart. So it goes with Frank's music and podcast...if you have a few minutes to waste he'll be more than happy to provide you with fresh, quirky, clean and ever sarcastic Downeast humor. And maybe lean just within earshot to hear an enthusiastic and heartfelt tune.

Dogwood Flowers
I wrote Dogwood Flowers back in 1996. Recently a nephew remarked it was his favorite song so I re-recorded it today for him. Background footage includes my mother walking with me in Westport, Nova Scotia around 2005; a motorcycle ride down Gull Rock road - also some footage of main street.
Everyone should make at least one trip to Brier Island, and they should go when the dogwoods are flowering!
