Creighton Waters' politically driven prosecution of Alex Murdaugh relied heavily upon Mark Tinsley's testimony (and Tinsley's strategy) even though Creighton and his boss - AG Alan Wilson - knew or should have known that Tinsley is an unethical habitual liar who has repeatedly demonstrated an utter disregard for the Rules of Professional Conduct. Tinsley was never a credible unbiased witness, his testimony should not have been before the jury, and he should not have had even a whiff of a hint of influence over the prosecution of Alex Murdaugh. At a minimum, Tinsley had a huge financial interest in convicting Alex. And, what happened to Private Investigator Sara Capelli's video tapes, of both Paul Murdaugh (from 3 days before the murders), and from a camera allegedly placed at the driveway to Moselle? Where are these videos? What info is on the videos? These videos were allegedly given to SLED a year before the Murder trial, where did they disappear to?

Among the 31May23 motions, filed by Parkers is a motion for reconsideration of several of Judge Bentley Price's moronic, sloppy, nonsensical determinations related to his incompetent review of the privilege log. And, Parker's has not backed away from the earlier motion to disqualify Mark Tinsley from the 2021cp2500392 civil outrage case, which would eviscerate both of Tinsley's Beach cases. All of these legitimate issues were raised roughly a year before the Murder trial .. I reported on them... and I'm just a 70 year-old bystander. Recently I stumbled upon an Appellate Court record of a case - William Hunter Youmans v. Mark B & Diane E Tinsley - which details the exploits of what I describe as a sleazy attorney - essentially stealing valuable property from a family in Allendale … that had owned the valuable property for decades. It’s a real gut-wrenching awful story about this sleazeball attorney - a guy named Mark Tinsley screwing a beloved son - William Hunter Youmans - out of property his father Calvin Causey Youmans wanted Hunter and his brothers to enjoy for generations. Earlier Tinsley had represented Robert Martin Youmans (William Hunter’s brother) in an Allendale case: 21st Mortgage v Robert Youmans 2011cp0300127 - which seemed to also involve unethical conduct by this guy Mark Tinsley. Reading through court records, again and again Tinsley’s conduct seems reprehensible and unethical … if not illegal. Which got me to thinking about how a law firm in one of the poorest communities in South Carolina - which seems to thrive on exploiting poor people, in nickel and dime cases - can afford years of expensive litigation.

Attorneys for Alex Murdaugh finally get around to addressing "The Elephant In The Room"... a.k.a. the shaky legal quicksand Eric Bland is now drowning in... and Bland is sucking Tony Satterfield down in the process. Poor Tony just can't catch a break. Tony goes from conspiring - on some level - to commit insurance fraud with Alex Murdaugh (who is a tragic, long-term opioid-addict, desperate to fund his 20-year drug addiction) - to this guy - Eric Bland - who appears to be nothing more than a sleazy, media-obsessed carnaval-huckster. Eric Bland was originally endorsed by Mark Tinsley and FITSNEWS. Wonder how long that's going to last. Here are some key points to consider: Dick Harpootlian's May 16, 2023 Motion to Vacate Alex Murdaugh's $4.3 million confession of judgment paints a clear picture of what Eric Bland knew about the unreliable - frankly unbelievable claims Alex Murdaugh made...e.g. that Gloria Satter tripped over Murdaugh's dogs while she was at Moselle to pick up a check for work Gloria had done elsewhere, for someone other than Murdaugh. Sure, that seems believable!!! Actually, no it doesn't, and even a 6 year-old can see it for "insurance fraud." The insurance company never believed that lie, neither did I, and as my regular viewers know, I've reported on this insurance fraud since October of 2021. Harpootlian's latest motion makes the strong clear case the Eric Bland has involved Tony in a scheme to monetize Bland's inside knowledge of Murdaugh's struggles. Not sure how far over the line Bland went, but I think he can kiss his license to practice law goodbye. He might even be looking at jail time...which at this point seems appropriate. Bottomline, Satterfields were unjustly enriched by Palmetto State Bank, Bank of America and others, who paid millions to the "Eric Bland /Tony Satterfield Grift." That money - millions of dollars - should have been repaid to the insurance companies harmed by Murdaugh. The $4.3 million dollar confession of judgment was a step too far...it effectively robs Murdaughs real victims.

The recent FITSNEWS / Will Folks' headline related to Paul Murdaugh's brutal death is absolutely disgusting, reaching a new low for the pathetic FN blog. With respect to the Idaho murders - as of this morning Dec. 6, 2022 everyone is chasing their tails, going back to square one, or trying to discern what is accurate from the stray tidbits of gossip they read and hear. There is near total confusion. I now agree with Mr. Goncalves's concerns over the competency and ineffectiveness of LE. Between our DoJ and media, we are simply not accurately informed... about anything. As for trusting LE, we can't say "the FBI is credible here and can be trusted in this instance" ... when we know they've lied to us for years on other extremely important topics. Moreover, I now believe that well-connected people and institutions have exerted pressure to minimize the full horror of these murders... for basically PR. At the very least, this case has been a wake up call for a generation who rely upon LE and media for their "facts." One overarching take away is that media will disseminate anything and then take no responsibility at all for the chaos and confusion they generate. Covering this story is now a huge cash cow for struggling media. Salacious details sell. Most in media still can't even pronounce "Goncalves" much less get a fact right. Most media personalities are reading scripted questions and spend more energy on hair and makeup than on the facts of the story. The public is left trying to weed through 90% misinformation. People see the "Ashleigh Banfield " and "Lawrence Jones" kind of formulaic sets and presentation and are naively duped by a mish mash of exploitive nonsense.
