He has focused his clinical and academic career in helping patients with complex colorectal and pelvic problems.He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and his surgical training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and the Children's Hospital of Buffalo.He has previously directed theColorectal Centers at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
