A Storm near Las Vegas NV was severe with hail and strong wind, radar showed it as having TVS rotation (tornado) and when I looked at it, the rotation appeared to be a gustnado rather than a tornado. The problem with this being it was on the other side of the highway and I had to drive 26 miles to get on the other side of the divider. Still it is impressive.

The light looks creepy yellow the sun is now a fireball. In Las Vegas we can finally smell the smoke in the upper atmosphere. This is a scary surreal sort of wartime sky. Hard to believe how bad it is in neighboring California.
