We often hear the phrase ”survival of the fittest,” but do we really know what it means?! The first thing that comes to mind is the physical fitness of someone, but funnily enough, that is not always the case. This idiom comes from the Darwinian theory of evolution and what it means is that whoever has the best blend of traits is the one who will progress in evolution. Basically, this phrase explains the principle of natural selection that Darwin was talking about. So what it means is that you don’t have to be the biggest or the smartest, you only need to know how to survive in the wilderness and have a quick set of reflexes. Judging by everything we’ve said, it seems like <a href="https://rumble.com/v3r3xh-sweet-rabbits.html" target="_blank">rabbits</a> and hares could definitely fend for themselves in the wilderness. They look very similar and have almost the same physical characteristics with the main difference being the way they bear and raise their young. Hares tend to do it in nests in shallow depressions while rabbits dig burrows underground. This is why baby hares are born with fur and open eyes, to protect themselves from attackers, early on. Jackrabbits are actually <a href="https://rumble.com/v4alrl-domesticated-hare-dancing.html" target="_blank">hares</a>, despite their name. Unfortunately, they too need some saving in the wilderness every once in a while.
