“Why Can’t all Religions be Right?”
“Why Can’t all Religions be Right?”
Sunday, April 30, 2023
Join us for our message series on hard questions for God. Questions like, “What really is God’s will?" and "Is God really in control?" can be difficult to answer. Whether you're a long-time believer, a skeptic, or somewhere in between, we welcome you to join us for this thought-provoking series.
This week’s question is, “Why Can’t all Religions be Right?”
Christianity is based on historical events that are supported by eyewitness accounts, archaeological evidence, and prophetic fulfillment. The Bible presents a cohesive and consistent message of God's love, redemption, and salvation that has transformed the lives of millions of people throughout history. But what about other religions? Can they be right too? Join me this Sunday as we answer the question, “Why Can’t All Religions be Right?”

“Easter Changes Everything”
“Easter Changes Everything”
Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023
Easter is essential to the Christian faith. It’s the celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. This extraordinary moment signifies hope, renewal, and the triumph of life over death. For believers, Easter is not just a single day, but a transformative experience that changes everything.
Easter represents the fulfillment of God's promise of salvation. By conquering death, Jesus has opened the gates of eternal life for all who believe in him. This assurance of everlasting life empowers Christians to face life's challenges with courage and resilience.
In essence, Easter changes everything by instilling hope, fostering forgiveness, and inspiring love. It's a beacon of light that illuminates our lives, guiding us to become the best versions of ourselves.
Join me here at Compass Church as we discover how “Easter Changes Everything.”

Welcoming A King, But Missing The Savior
Welcoming A King, But Missing The Savior
Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023
Preparing to meet God can be a daunting task, but it's an important one. You may think that you will never be ready to meet God, but I want to teach you how God’s Word explains we can Be Prepared to See God.
One way we can prepare ourselves is by reflecting on the story of Palm Sunday, where Jesus made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. His entry was a humble one, but it signified His role as the promised Messiah and King.
I invite you to join us for Palm Sunday, where our kids' choir will perform, and we will remember Jesus' triumphal entry with a real donkey and procession through palm branches.
I hope to see you Sunday, April 2, and celebrate Palm Sunday at Compass Church.

“The God Who Challenges You”
“The God Who Challenges You”
Sunday, March 26, 2023
Are you feeling lost or disconnected from your faith? It's easy to forget about the things that matter most.
But there is a wake-up call that can help you reconnect with your spiritual life. Revelation 3:16 says, "So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
This verse reminds us that it's not enough to just go through the motions of faith - we need to be fully committed and passionate about our beliefs. If we are lukewarm or indifferent, we risk losing touch with the very things that give our lives meaning and purpose.
Whether you are struggling to find your spiritual path, or simply feeling disconnected from your faith, Revelation 3:16 can be a powerful call to action.
With courage and conviction, you can find the strength and guidance you need to live a life of faith and purpose.
