Eviation Aircraft made history on Sept. 27, when the company successfully completed the first flight of its zero-emission Alice aircraft. Alice’s maiden flight took place early in the morning at Grant County International Airport (MWH) in Moses Lake, Washington. The aircraft lifted off at 7:10 a.m. local time, reaching an altitude of 3,500 feet, flying for eight minutes, and peaking at 149 knots before safely landing at MWH.

Footage of two massive explosions in the Chinese city of Tianjin, taken by a stunned eyewitness, captured the fear and terror of those who saw what happened. City officials say they still did not know what materials were at the warehouse at the time of the fire, or what caused the blasts. This is an incredible landing caught on tape that a Ryanair pilot made flying into Madeira Airport, aka Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, in Portugal. The airport already has a reputation for being one of the most challenging airports in the world, and uncomfortable-looking landings are quite normal. On this particular day, the pilot had to battle high crosswinds as they approached. Inside Edition Digital has more.

A pillar of dark smoke filled the sky as a plane, engulfed in roaring flames, made an emergency landing in Moscow. After taking off from Sheremetyevo International Airport, the Aeroflot aircraft reportedly caught fire midair about 30 minutes into the flight. The pilot was forced to turn around. Harrowing video showed the plane heading down the runway with bright orange flames shooting out from its back and sides.

Footage showed the Sukhoi Superjet 100 bouncing along the tarmac at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport before the rear part of the plane burst into flames. Passengers can be seen escaping via the plane's emergency slides that inflated after the hard landing.

The plane was airborne briefly before returning to make an emergency landing, and, still heavy with unburned fuel, the jet ignited after a rough touchdown.
