Or face arrest… so I won’t. I hope this message finds you well, albeit urgent and concerning. I am writing to you today in a state of distress and desperation, seeking your immediate assistance and intervention in a matter of grave importance. First and foremost, I must emphasize my dire financial situation you are already all aware of. A disability support pension is the utter bare necessity this Government could actually do for me. Research proves it is not sufficient enough to live on. I am currently experiencing severe financial abuse and exploitation, leaving me in a state of destitution with no means to afford essential resources or legal representation. This abuse has rendered me unable to secure the necessary legal support as I await sentencing on trumped up charges, leaving me vulnerable and without recourse. I am squatting in Free Living Australia’s accomodation without paying any rent. It is an obligation of the Australian Government to provide reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability. They have breached their obligations to me as a citizen of the country. They have violated the UN charter of persons with disabilities ratified by the Government in 2008. That is a serious breach. There are others: 1. Right to Legal Representation (Article 10, Universal Declaration of Human Rights): Barran has been denied the right to legal representation, a fundamental aspect of due process. For example, he has been banned from accessing legal aid and has faced obstacles in obtaining legal counsel for his upcoming sentencing. 2. Right to Adequate Standard of Living (Article 25, Universal Declaration of Human Rights): Barran has been subjected to financial abuse and exploitation, leading to destitution and homelessness. Despite being entitled to reasonable accommodation as a person with a disability, he has been forced to squat in deplorable conditions without access to basic necessities. 3. Right to Freedom from Torture and Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (Article 5, Universal Declaration of Human Rights): Barran has endured relentless harassment, persecution, and psychological warfare, constituting cruel and degrading treatment. This includes covert surveillance, intimidation, and false accusations, which have escalated to unimaginable levels, leaving him feeling isolated and vulnerable. 4. Right to Freedom of Expression (Article 19, Universal Declaration of Human Rights): Barran's freedom of expression has been curtailed through various means, including the suppression of evidence and the silencing of legitimate concerns. For example, his attempts to blow the whistle on corruption and abuse of power have been met with censorship and retaliation, infringing upon his right to speak out. 5. Right to an Effective Remedy (Article 8, Universal Declaration of Human Rights): Barran has been denied access to effective remedies for the injustices he has endured. Despite being subjected to systemic failures and human rights abuses, he has faced barriers in seeking redress through legal, ombudsman, political, law enforcement, and healthcare channels. These examples illustrate the multifaceted nature of my human rights abuses, spanning various articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They highlight systemic failures, individual acts of discrimination, and institutional barriers that have perpetuated his suffering and denied him the protections and remedies to which I am entitled. Like I said I am also banned from the legal bar preventing me from getting a lawyer and framed by powerful lawyer Russell Ball as an extortionist.
