Real life prosthetic hand inspired by video game
Several months ago Armatus Designs received a commission to create a functional prosthetic hand based off of the Phantom Pain hand used in Metal Gear Solid 5. This was for a client who was born without a left hand and grew tired of his standard claw style prosthetic, but didn't want to shell out thousands of dollars for a motorized medical grade prosthetic. The goal was to create something durable, functional and useful on a budget. This is the result!

Guy Tests His Real-Life Batsuit Against An Iron Pipe
Some people love certain movies so much that they find a way to bring them at home. The well-known Dark Knight of Gotham City is an idol to many people over the world. But who can blame them? With his black leather suit and vest made of steel, he looks so powerful. Batman's suit now has the potential to become a real-life thing. Some people may think it’s a joke, but we have a video proof and it’s absolutely amazing!
Jackson Gordon, a student from Philadelphia University has designed and created a real-life Batman suit. The suit is a combat armor which is able to withstand punches, baseball bats, and even blade attacks. The brilliant guy had something else in mind. He wanted to test his invention with a harder object, such as 5 or 6-pound iron pipe.
Jackson puts his Batsuit on and asked his friend for a little help. His friend hit him once and then again with the pipe. The second hit was stronger, as you can see in the slow motion part of the video. ‘I think I proved my point!’ were the words he said after the second hit, and he definitely convinced us!
Don’t you agree that this is simply insane? If you have an idea, anything is possible with a little imagination and hard work. This guy definitely put in so much effort to achieve his vision, kudos to Jackson!

Student creates real life 'Batsuit' combat armor
Since his first appearance in 1939, the masked vigilante known as Batman has been inspiring boys and girl around the world. Both kids and adults alike are dreaming of having their own Bat suit, complete with armor and utility belt!
Jackson Gordon, a Philadelphia University student, designed and created this real-life Batsuit which is able to withstand punches, and even baseball bats and blade attacks. Watch as he showcases the complete suit in action! According to Jackson, the suit protects the wearer while remaining lightweight.
He raised the money to build this suit through a campaign on Kickstarter, gathering over $1000 from 17 enthusiasts. He built the armor using Kevlar and silicone, which weighs over four stone and took Jackson almost 5 months to complete it in his home in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Coincidence? We think not.

Real-life Batsuit protects against violent attacks
Kapow! An American student made a suit that would make Bruce Wayne dump all his money on him! The 21-year old student named Jackson Gordon from Philadelphia University, designed and created this real-life Batsuit which is able to withstand punches, and even baseball bats and blade attacks.
Jackson made the suit out of Kevlar and silicone molds, weighing just under 56 pounds and took the industrial design student 4 months to complete. He constructed the armored suit with money he raised off Kickstarter. Hoping to raise 1000 dollars, his campaign got backed by 17 supporters, who helped him raise $1255 – more than enough to begin assembly.
With the help of his friend Ozzy, armed with the combat gloves that Jackson made to go along with the suit, he demonstrates the power of protection that his creation can provide its wearer. With his hands above his head, Jackson endured some pretty nasty punches to his abdomen, his sides and shoulders.
As he smiles towards the camera, Jackson says ‘I could do this all day. I can’t even feel it.’. This is his second Batsuit, with the previous one he made a year before, based on Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.
