Bitcoin was released in 2009 as peer-to-peer digital cash for use by everyone, bypassing banks and governments. In 2017, Bitcoin (BTC) was co-opted and transformed into a store of value, dubbed 'Digital Gold,' rather than serving as cash. Since then, traditional and central banks have surpassed BTC with innovations such as Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Currently, 133 countries are in various stages of deploying Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Roger, who has been involved with Bitcoin since 2010, has released a new book titled "Hijacking Bitcoin." This book details the process by which Bitcoin was hijacked and offers hope for a better alternative, backed by facts.

Brownstone Fellow Aaron Day provides his analysis on the blockbuster court ruling that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. He discusses:
The details of the lawsuit between COPA (Crypto Open Patent Alliance) and Craig Wright
The parallels between Wright's behavior and a serial litigant Day was previously involved with
Why many wanted to believe Wright was Satoshi despite red flags
The importance of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) emerging as the leader in peer-to-peer digital cash
How infighting in crypto has allowed CBDCs to leapfrog private cryptocurrencies
The urgent need for the crypto community to unite against the threat of CBDCs
Day argues that with Craig Wright's claims debunked, BCH is now positioned as the top proof-of-work blockchain focused on scaling to become a viable alternative to government-controlled digital currencies. He calls for unity among all crypto factions to work together to stop the imminent rollout of CBDCs and digital totalitarianism.
