Kind of interesting as the mid 700's has been the largest manifest to date for me and this one was 816 Axles! Had two locomotives leading and two under power as DPU's. the MOST horsepower I've seen yet on a CSX train on the ex NYC water level main line.

Wandered around a bit and took a snap shot of the "established" rail fan spots :)

Almost as if they used some of the same tooling to build the much updated 8004 version from the early 1950's era 2055 locomotives , here take a look for yourself :)

Swap EMD FP45 for a EMD SD45shell n a 1980's era vintage Williams Twin motor locomotive chassis & train run with results :)

Horse traded away a few things and ended up with three new to me locomotives :)

Wandered from mp276 to cp285 or from Chittenango to East Syracuse along the CSX main line. LOTS of train activity as it was a really busy day from some reason. Possibly because of the Norfolk Southern derailment in Allentown where possibly CSX gets an increase in traffic from the Bew Jersey/New York area as a result. Regardless, a real busy day on the CSX main line through Central New York

CSX added another flood light right by the Minoa cross walk :) Took advantage of that yesterday ( 3-4-2024 ) evening :)

A lot of train run time & some discussion of things interesting to me on Lionel based train layout

Pretty much their deal & routine. On leased Norfolk Southern track from Lansing NY to Sayre Pa, they haul salt from the Cargill Lansing salt mine to be distributed around the North East. A typical cycle... bring empties to Lansing, Pull loaded cars to Myers, "End around" the locomotives and drag them to Ithaca, in the morning take them to Sayre and repeat :)
