Lindau is a town on Lake Constance (or Bodensee) in Bavaria, Germany, known for its old town on Lindau island. The harbor has a Bavarian Lion statue and a stone lighthouse with lake and mountain views. On the harborfront Seepromenade, the 12th-century Mangturm is a former watchtower with a pointed, tiled roof. Near restaurant-lined Maximilianstrasse, the Gothic Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) has a painted facade.

Walking in Berlin (Alexanderplatz), Germany.
Alexanderplatz in Berlin Mitte is one of the best-known public squares in Berlin – and it’s certainly the biggest. Named after Tsar Alexander I, who visited the Prussian capital in 1805, most people simply call it Alex.
It has a great many great tourist attractions within walking distance, making it the ideal starting point for a sightseeing tour of Berlin.

The railway station of Uelzen (Germany). It is also called "Hundertwasser-Bahnhof Uelzen" as it was renovated for Expo 2000 by the Austrian architect/artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It is a bright bustling train station with a fascinating, multi-coloured facade.

Walking in Frankfurt, Germany.
Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market.

Nearby is the Pre-Romanesque St. Michael’s Church. Framed by landscaped gardens, the baroque Stadtschloss palace has ornate rooms full of fine porcelain and furniture.

Stralsund is a town on Germany’s Baltic coast. Its Old Town has many red-brick Gothic landmarks, like the 13th-century Town Hall. The Stralsund Museum maintains a medieval merchant’s house and monastery. The Ozeaneum aquarium has tanks recreating the habitats of the Baltic Sea and North Sea, plus a penguin pool. In the harbor is Gorch Fock I, a 1933 tall ship. A bridge links Stralsund to Rügen island.

The old town was beautifully restored and has become a single splendid historical architectural landmark of international importance. Architecture enthusiasts call it a jewel of the Weser Renaissance.

A Ride in the Suspended Tram in Wuppertal, Germany.
The Wuppertaler Schwebebahn ("Wuppertal Suspension Railway") is a suspension railway in Wuppertal, Germany.
It is the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the world and is a unique system in Germany.
The first track opened in 1901. The railway line is credited with growth of the original cities and their eventual merger into Wuppertal. The Schwebebahn is still in use as a normal means of local public transport, moving 25 million passengers annually, per the 2008 annual report. New rail cars were ordered in 2015, called Generation 15.
The Schwebebahn runs along a route of 13.3 kilometres (8.3 mi), at a height of about 12 metres (39 ft) above the River Wupper. At one point the railway crosses the A46 motorway. The entire trip takes about 30 minutes.
