Delta 2 Rocket Launch
The launch of the Delta 2 rocket occurred at 11: 00 am EST on Thursday, November 2, 2011 from Space Launch Complex 2 at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The mission was a resupply mission to the ISS and was the second mission in the Delta 2 program.
The primary payload was the second stage of the Delta 2 rocket, which carried the payload for the Department of Defense Space Test Program. The secondary payload was a NASA Tracking and Data Relay Satellite that will be used for tracking and relaying data from NASA satellites.
