Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a huge ruling yesterday from a 3 judge panel in the matter of Baird v. Bonta a challenge to California's open carry ban. The ruling, which actually remands the case back to the District Court for a proper consideration of the plaintiff's request for a temporary injunction on enforcement of this law. The 9th Circuit has found that the District did not even come close to applying the proper legal standard and so now, we get a do-over. His mom then captured a conversation with a school administrator who explained the school's "policy" but refused to listen to the actual historical relevance of that flag. Donnell, which was a challenge to a law which made Mr. Donnell a criminal the moment he traveled into Massachusetts, from his home state of New Hampshire while carrying a firearm. Although Mr. Donnell was 100% legal in all ways in his home state, the moment he entered into Massachusetts armed, he violated the law as he had not yet obtained the State's permission to do so.
