EWC girls give a dance recital at the Weston County Senior Center, Monday, August 1, 2022. Directed by Asia Graham (Miss Asia Dance). The three dances are K through 2, 3 through 5, and middle school.

The county clerk and her office testing the vote count machines at the Weston County Courthouse in front of witnesses. The entire process, including sealing up the machines to avoid tampering, was made transparent and public. All questions were answered to the satisfaction of those present.

To kick off the Weston County Fair 2022 we were privileged to have a luau at the Ertman Memorial. What a fun time.

The Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department set off the arial display of fireworks Sunday night, July 3, 2022. After two years, Newcastle Wyoming was treated to this show, the last two years missed due to severely dry condition, last year, and 19 fires in the county two years ago that the NVFD had to respond to. Fire Chief James Cullen let Connie and I go up on the hill to have an up-close and pretty darned exciting view of the whole display. Thank you James, and thank you to the entire Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department for everything.

The inaugural Sprint Cars for RPM Days. This is the first years the sprint cars have been a par tof RPM, and they kicked it off this year.

Here is the construction of the body of the lamp that will be auctioned off at the 2022 RPM Days in Newcastle Wyoming. RPM Stands for Racing Power Mud. It is a three day event that involves a parade, a pancake feed, mud volleyball, mud drag races, and a mud bog, along with concerts at night. The event it down a dirty power, with vehicles from ATVs to Monster Trucks, one of the funnest events each year.

The American Legion and Auxiliary, and the VFW and Auxiliary, both of Newcastle Wyoming held a Memorial Day Service at the Greenwood Cemetary, May 30, 2022. Prayer by Dan Fouch. Speeches by Deb French and Don DaFoe. National Anthem by Josie Smith.

Not one of my best, but a few elements of the drawing process I learned a lot from. I also learned a bit more about the video editing process. I wasn't going to upload it at first, but I really do want to get to my goal of at least one video a week. So I'll take the bad with the good at this point.

A Valentine's present I painted for my wife, Connie. An ink and watercolor painting of a blue heron, using traditional sumi brushes, ink, Chinese watercolor and bamboo pen.

Using Sumi Ink methods I paint a finished piece of art with a momma and baby panda eating bamboo leaves.

A practice ink painting, where simplifying strokes to get the most information from the fewest strokes. I'm getting there. This is a study for a larger painting that is coming soon.
