It’s cicada season and this year they are out in droves. It’s been a good 4 or 5 years since we had these guys this loud and the sound some days is deafening. The boys checked the decibel meter and it came in at 85 decibels. How many decibels is too loud? When it comes to damaging levels of sound, the magic number is 85. Thankfully they only live for about 4-6 weeks so we should start to get some relief soon.

Test running the new wood chipper by Vermeer. With a 25 acre food forest and an orchard we need lots of mulch. This beast will provide it for us.
