Hellblade took big swings for a AAA game, and there’s never been a better time to play it.
In Hellblade, you play as Senua, a Pictish warrior who has traveled to Helheim (Norse mythology’s underworld) to save the soul of her dead lover and best friend, Dillon. While she’ll come across many of the creatures and beings you’d expect in such a setting, two elements make the journey more dire. The first is a rot that starts on her hand and spreads across her body the more you die in the game, with a promise to erase all of your progress if it reaches her head. It not only raises the pressure of completing an already challenging experience, but it also drills into your head just how dangerous Senua’s quest really is.

Lollipop Chainsaw a 2012 action adventure hack and slash Zombie smashing video game developed by Grasshopper A collaboration between game designer Goichi Suda (also known by his nickname Suda51) and filmmaker James Gunn, the game was published in Japan by Kadokawa Games and internationally by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in June 2012.
It features Juliet Starling who is voiced by Tara Strong in English and by both Eri Kitamura in the Xbox 360 version and Yoko Hikasa in the PlayStation 3 version in Japanese - with limited uncensored versions allowing the player to change between the two voices after completing the game once, a cheerleader zombie hunter fighting zombies in a fictional California high school. It received generally mixed reviews from critics and has sold just over a million copies. This game was not well reviewed but has a Strong Cult Fan Base.
In July 2022, Kadokawa Games successor Dragami Games announced a remaster titled Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP set to release in 2024.
When you think of the greatest PlayStation 3 games of all time you may think of. And you wouldn't be wrong but let me tell you about my favorite ps3 game. a game that barely sold a million copies in 12 years, A game that was largely criticized by publications of the day, and a game that has never had a sequel even though it's ending left it wide open for one. Lollipop chain saw, this is a game that ambitiously tackles a lot of deep and difficult subjects about the pressures and struggles of highschool, and sends some incredibly important messages to the player. Nah im just messing with you, all we can learn from Lollipop chain saw is Cheerleder + Chainsaw + Zombies = Fun. That and if your boyfriend gets bitten by a zombie there is only 1 thing you can do... Cut his head off bind it to a magical spell and carry him around on your ass of course.
For me this is the greatest PlayStation 3 game of all time not because it's deep narrative although it does manage to sneak in a small amount of meaning about the effects of bullying people who are different, but because of its fun Factor. For the most part this is a game never takes itself too seriously. It seperates itself from games of the time with it's very adult based humor and dialog, its funny supporting cast, and its amazing combination of comic style art that are sewn into every aspect of the game, even into it's cinematic cutscenes. The art direction makes you feel like youre in a comic book, from the more obious heavy character lines, over the top costumes and characters, to more suble things like a dot art comic book style overlay that subltel sits over the gameplay. Combine with the Sparkle power up system , its hilarious 1 liners, and it's amazing soundtrack of 80's, oldies, and modern music you might not even realize why this game feels so different, it's beacuse Every aspect of this game was done with such great care, such amazing attention to detail, you can tell this was a passion project for Goichi Suda in colaboration with filmmaker James Gun and was not a game made hastily with a gimmick to sell copies.
you use a chain saw that doubles as a gun and a phone combine with your cheerleading skills to take on the (5 bosses) with a DMC like combo score system and level grading there are lots of new combos to unlock and replayability of each area. It's unique resource is the collecting of Sparkles which you get by de captitaing zombies of courese. These sparkely allows you to power up your sparkle gauge which then triggers the Cheerleader anthem HEY Mickey, and allows Juliet to pretty much 1 shot everthing in her path. The combat isn't incredibly deep or challenging, but it does one thing so many games just fail to get right thrse days. It's fun! It's damn fun.
The enemies and boss fights often poke fun the Pop Culture of the time, as well as the strange world that is highschool. At one point you even play a game of Basketball against a team of jock zombies.
the Combination of Cinematics and Comic Style cutscenes , the comic book style interface really artwork is awesome and fresh. Even the loading screens have comic book flair to them. There is a barely noticeable comic book dot overlay to the entire game, which is Lollipops version of Film Grain, its so subtle but really amazing, and it makes you feel even more like youre living out a comic book adventure. Every aspect of this game was done with such great care, such amazing attention to detail, you can tell this was a passion project for Goichi Suda in colaboration with filmmaker James Gun and was not a game made hastily with a gimmick to sell copies. In my opinion this is the best game to ever be released on the Ps3
with its Iconic soundtrack, iconic look , and off the wall original story, its no suprise this game has a deep cult following, what suprised me is that the game is being remade and will be called Repop, a strange choiuce considering the game has just barely sold over 1,000,000 copies in the last 12 years, and really only has a Cult Fan Base. The game was widely dismissed among critics at the time,so my guess is a remake will be nothing more than a money grab banking on selling a realistic looking juliet with jiggle physics, and a bunch of new constumes to play dress up with. What is important to know is that this remake wont preserve the Comic book look, will have a new soundtrack, and does not have the original writers or devs involved in the game.
This is a game I think most people will actually like, where as a very small % of people caught in a youtube , reddit, and twitter x fueled culture war regarding character design and games, will either LOVE it or Hate is based on what side of that converstaion youre on. most of us honestly just don't care what a female protgonist looks like or judge a game based only on that. I know I don't, when I play a game the first thing I am looking for is the Fun Factor, followed by good gameplay, and Lollipop Chainsaw delivers on both of those. Other things I care about are, Artistic design, soundtrack and soundsapces, a fresh narrative, humor, and on the rare occasion we get games like hellblade and like Red Dead 2 , an emotionjaly moving experience. While I would never say Lollipop chainsaw is an emotionaly moving game, it actually checks a lot of those boxes.
However If you're an extra honrny gamer you'll probably like this game regardless of the gameplay but if you fall into that catagory you might be better of waiting for Repop as I feel you are who that remake is being designed for. If you are in the camp of women cant be attractive or wear anything other a paper sack and should not express the slightest bit of sexuality you'll hate this game. The other 99%.of you will probably at least enjoy it to some degree.
Lollipop chainsaw is just another example Games really need to be preserved in their original state as art, and if you are unable to play this game because like most people your PS3 stopped working a year after you bought it, there are ways you can play this game that youtube will not allow me to tell you about, just be careful when looking, because you wont find anything but virus's and malware infected files from the results on google search.

We Decide the Future so Stop making it Worse - The Future of Video Games
First I am so thankful there are still amazing games coming out, and studios that are doing their own thing there own way. So this isn't going to be a modern gaming sucks video. I really want to reinforce the positive , and that is there are a lot of great games, and great studios out there for everyone, and while nobody wants to see their favorite franchise get ruined , for every steaming pile of malfunctioning overpriced agenda pushing dog poop out there, there is just as many if not more games doing things right.
But after The Star Wars Outlaws announcement and years of Garbage releases from AAA titles , combine with the never ending Toxicity of the Woke Anti Woke debate and the ever increase in microtransactions inside premium price games that are release broken, some of which never get fixed. Well that all kind of created this perfect storm, and are all Foundations for the subject of this video.
Like many of you I an not happy with some of the things the big studios are doing. It doesn't matter if you and I are unhappy with the same things or not. what matters is that people understand how to get the changes they want. So in this video I am going to attempt to outline a very simple concept that people are smart enough to understand and realize on their own, but many people do not lack the discipline to implement.
This is actually really simple, If you don't like certain physical designs for characters in games, or you don't like the music, or the art directions, or maybe you're like me and are sick of incomplete games selling you microtransactions and offering things like early play if you buy the Mighty Morphin Ultra Galactic Edition of the game for 500 bucks. There is 1 simple thing all of us can do, to make sure our voices are heard, and no its not tweeting about it, or making videos about it, because Corporations don't care. it amazes me at the amount of people that complain about an aspect of an upcoming release and then run right out and buy that game so they can talk about how horrible it is. Clearly there is some addiction issues plaguing a lot of gamers these days. All you are doing is spending money to make yourself miserable, and a lot of you end up spreading misery to everyone else, which really is the worst part of all of this. But let me explain something to you, when you buy a game so you can talk about how horrible it is, all the publisher is hearing is " I like this , I want more of this , i don't care if you rip me off, i don't care what narratives are about, and I don't care what characters look like, you make great games, keep doing more of the same" Do you think the people at Capcom , Ubisoft, EA, or Activision care about our tweets, videos, reviews, and social media posts? Not one bit. All they are looking at is investment and return, minimal effort for maximum profit, and what the bottom line is. Most of these publishers not only don't care about games, but they don't care about us. So just know this what you buy now, good or bad, for whatever reason is more of what you're going to get in the future.
If we all Speak with our wallets, the game developers will have to listen. we the consumers, the gamers will decided what the future of gaming looks like based on what we do and do not support and purchase now. So the next time you want to pre buy a game you know nothing about, or are tempted to buy some overpriced edition, or you want to purchase a game sweetbaby helped make just to see what their effect on the game was, or you sell yourself on the idea that its okay for a publisher to sell things like Shark Cards and Fighter Packs, or you just feel the need to keep up with the conversation, or worst of all you intentionally buy something you know is something you wont like just so you can experience how bad it is, ask yourself, is this what I want more of in the future? Because it is true what you buy now, is more of what you can expect years from now.
I know I am going to be told I am oversimplifying this, I know there are those of you who will have to argue with me even though I don't want to argue with you, and I am taking no ones side in any of this. But this really could not be more simple.

Tifa plays piano in her Bikini
Though a loyal member of Avalanche─an underground organization that opposes Shinra─Tifa nevertheless questions the group's extremist tactics, struggling to reconcile her cause with her conscience. This internal conflict reaches a fever pitch when her group's actions effectively lead to the fall of the Sector 7 plate. Racked with guilt, she leaves Midgar in search of a new path to tread.
She strings together swift combos while utilizing a variety of martial art techniques. Her ATB fills quickly, allowing for the use of multiple abilities in rapid succession. She also boasts several skills that deal more damage to airborne or staggered foes.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a 2024 action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game is a sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020) and the second in a planned trilogy of games remaking the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII.
Like its predecessor, the gameplay of Rebirth combines real-time action with strategic and role-playing elements. Set immediately after Remake's events, players control mercenary Cloud Strife and a party of characters principally comprising the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, who embark on a journey across the Planet to prevent the megacorporation Shinra from exploiting its life essence, the Lifestream, as an energy source, and defeat former elite SOLDIER Sephiroth, who seeks to unite with the Planet to achieve greater power.
Rebirth entered production in November 2019 prior to Remake's release, and was announced in June 2022. All of the previous game's lead staff return in the same positions, but with Tetsuya Nomura as creative director instead of director, and Naoki Hamaguchi as director instead of co-director.
Rebirth was released for the PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. Upon release, the game received critical acclaim.

18:30 I still recommend it
Banishers Ghosts of New Eden is a game that somehow manages to take you to the highest of highs and lowest of lows, its a mixed bag of Brilliance and total Blunder that is plagued by being overly ambitious with far to much to do, that does not add to the story or experience but actually takes away from what is a well written and interesting story, with two great protagonists that are very well voiced. Stick around for a deep look and analysis of
Banishers ghosts of new Eden
As this is going to likely be the last review I do Until Hellblade 2 or some Remedy content comes out, I really wanted to paint a very detailed picture of this game so those of you who are considering purchasing it can make an informed decision whether you think this is a game you would enjoy.
So rather than writing a hasty review I actually put a lot of time into this game before throwing out a review because I wanted to make sure I really understood what the game offers and where it shines and fails. As of this recording I am over 80 hours and still haven't finished all the sides quests. please feel free to skip around using the time stamps in the description below, and I apologize if they aren't working on the timeline itself.
Set late in the 17th Century Banishers the Ghosts of New Eden is really great concept for a game, Don't Nod did manage to pull off a pretty damn good Tragic Gothic love story with a Supernatural Theme. The story of two Banishers the Scotsman Red MacRaith and his lover as well as teacher a women from Cuba named Antea.
The story takes place in New Eden which is a fictional town and surrounding area set in the New England colonies, the journey will take you from the highest snow covered mountain, to the depths of a haunted mine, an adventure stretched out over a vast map from marshes to meadows , graveyards to military forts , secret islands, and dark forests.
Its actually a pretty well themed story about love and the what lengths a person is willing to go to for love, and how being in love with someone can be incredibly selfish, Ultimately those choices are left up to you the player to decide, and based on your choices you will a different ending, there is always a price for your choices no matter what.
Antea and Red use an pretty interesting back and forth system where Antea''s attacks are based on spirit energy that red generates through his attacks , but depletes as she uses attacks or takes damage. Red is the only one with a true life gauge. Both red and Antea having their own strengths and weakness which depending on the difficulty level forces the player to do a lot of adapting and switching in combat. Which is one of the games best features. There are lots of subtle things to master in combat, from how to break down a guard, pulling off a perfect switch between Red and Antaya to gain a buff or activate a special attack, getting a perfect parry, and knowing when to use who's attacks is all a key part of success, and it's fun.

Silent Hill The Short Message Spoiler Free - Dual Sense Controller UNLEASHED
Experience the Power of the PS5 DualSense in Silent Hill The Short Message uses a loop to tell a story about being stuck in your worst nightmare. Anita is brought to an abandoned apartment building with no idea how she got there and has to walk around to find her way out. Until she faces both metaphorical and physical demons, she’s trapped. She has no weapons or items to help her beyond her phone, which she uses as a flashlight and as a way to talk to her friends Maya and Amelie.
Chapters
00:00 - Silent Hill the Short Message Plot
00:45 - Not Typical Horror
01:16 - Dual Sense Features Used Brilliantly
02:22 - Amazing Audio
02:34 - Monster
02:48 - Player Appeal / Who will like it?
03:32 - Thought Provoking Experience
This is an amazing example of what the Dual Sense Controller if Capable of.
There are multiple loops throughout the game, and they’re great at ramping up the tension. In one, Anita walks around her old apartment, and every time she restarts the loop, she gets smaller. Once I realized that I was becoming child-sized as I relived Anita’s childhood trauma and learned more about her mother, something sank in my stomach. I saw myself getting weaker and more helpless, which played well with Anita’s experience.
The most prominent place you’ll see these loops is in the game’s only action sequences, where you have to run away from a monster, clearly supposed to resemble Maya. Considering Pyramid Head creator Masahiro Ito worked on The Short Message, it’s no surprise that it’s such an intense creature. It looks horrific but oddly beautiful, rendered in pastels that pop against the dark. She also moves at a different framerate, making her motions look jerky and unnerving. Not sure what the name of it is yet (Cherry Blossom School Girl maybe?), but it’ll definitely be one of the franchise’s most memorable monsters.
Running from the monster is a bit reminiscent of trying to escape the Void in Silent Hill: Downpour, although thankfully a lot less annoying. You have to navigate looping mazes while using your phone to listen for static (a common Silent Hill mechanic) to avoid the monster, which instantly sends you back to the beginning. Like the building, these mazes become more dilapidated and terrifying over time, with the last one running you through a Silent Hill-esque other world covered in metal grates and surrounded by fire.
Another hallmark of modern Silent Hill seems to be taking the concept of a town that reflects the protagonist’s worst fears and trauma, and expanding those horrors throughout the world. The Short Message takes place in Germany, specifically in the fictional town of Kettenstadt. The place is described as a “border stronghold” that once had big revitalization dreams until the COVID-19 pandemic caused investors to pull out funding. Many of the buildings are therefore abandoned, including the Villa apartment building, where the game takes place.
It’s impressive how fleshed-out Kettenstadt feels, and like the best of Silent Hill, it’s a character in itself. This is only a two-hour game, so there’s only so much detail here, and you don’t see anything beyond the Villa, but there’s still enough to drive home how Silent Hill-esque Kettenstadt is — in part due to its tragic backstory and current state of neglect. Even when the world around you looks worse with each loop, you never feel like you’ve left the Villa. Anita’s state of mind might make the environments look grimier and more wretched, but the line is always blurred between Kettenstadt’s actual state and its Silent Hill version. Utilizing the pandemic also adds some needed depth, especially now that we’re in 2024 and are still seeing its effects widely. (Is this the first significant COVID game?)

25:07 Chapter 6 Clearcut
It helps to re-watch the series in the context of the final outcome, so let’s focus on where we end up first. We know by fifth episode that Jake is blacking out and doing crazy violent things. We know by the final episode that he’s lost the struggle against these urges. No mater how you interpret anything else in Bright Falls, I think those few ideas are fairly clear.
Jake is corrupted by the darkness. Jake struggles to fight or escape the inner darkness. Jake eventually loses to the darkness.
Although it may be frustrating to think about, there are only two types of questions in Bright Falls – ones that are answered, and ones that aren’t. Any time you do enigmatic science fiction like this, there are going to be unanswered bits and as an audience you have to just accept that. In six episodes, there’s only so much of a scope for your narrative.
The above explanation about Jake brings up a lot of questions about the nature of the darkness. Those types of things can only be loosely speculated; most are out of the scope of the story. While this would normally be infuriating, the series has a perfect out in Alan Wake. We know the story of Alan Wake will go much deeper into “What is the darkness?” and in a way Bright Falls was created to make us want to know that. In the mean time, think of it like this -There’s something evil at work in the town of Bright Falls. A dark presence is corrupting people. Bright Falls is the story of one such individual.
With that in mind, we can start asking the right kind of questions. When did the darkness take Jake? At what point did he turn? Was it gradual or was there a breaking point? In order to answer these questions, we’re going to have to form some kind of time line. That’s where things start to get a little more complicated.
The first image in the entire series is Jake being pulled out of the lake. Even after the series is complete, this is one of the biggest mysteries. I’ve been assured by the creators that although elusive, the answer is buried somewhere within the series. At first I thought it Emil. Remember that Jake seems to be in Bright Falls to get some information on the doctor. Emil acts very strangely around him. Something’s up. As you can see from an enhanced version of the opening shot, Emil would probably look a lot weirder in a wet suit so I’ve got another idea.
In my original post about episode four, I speculated that Jake was trying to get a new headlight or similar part. We never hear what he’s ordering, only that he’ll have to wait for it. He ends up buying duct tape, so I assumed this was his Plan B. That doesn’t make a ton of sense though, because he has the duct tape at the counter before he’s ordering. He doesnt know about the delay yet. If you rewatch the scene, he’s holding a small slip of paper. Behind the man at the counter, there are shelves full of pill bottles. I think we can confirm that Jake is trying to order his medication. Believe it or not though, Jake’s reaction to the shipment delay isn’t the most important thing in the frame. Check out this sketchball:
I believe that’s the man known as Smith Mott, played by James August. He’s one of the few characters I could never account for in my repeated study of the credits.
Bright Falls teases us with the body bag image right at the beginning of the series, but that isn’t where the timeline actually begins. This is a glimpse of what will be happening at the end of episode four. At the end of the episode, Jake makes his way out of the body bag wearing his grey shirt and no shoes. Although he makes a rather humorous attempt to dress up when he visits Hartman again (nice blazer Jake, I’m sure you’ll fool him) the grey shirt and lost shoes are his attire for the rest of the series.
I”ll assume you’re with me on the idea that scene 1 of episode 1 is the same scene as at the end of episode four. Episode four shows more of that scene – Jake gets out of the body bag, as seen in the right side of image above, and runs into the woods. Wet, night time, grey shirt, no shoes. Episode five begins during the day, with Jake finally making it to the road. While some think this is a different day or time, the creators have confirmed that episode five starts the morning after episode four’s evening ends.
So it’s the very next morning. Jake is dry, the sun is up, and he’s found his way back to the car. He spent all night wandering around trying to find his way back. When he reaches the road, he finds some broken glass as well as his car. This scene requires careful study, and even then there’s no hard answer.

Wide Awake Alan Wake 2 Music Video Alice & Alan a Love Story
There is no Official Video for this song. This is a fan edit video I put together using Alan wake, American Nightmare and Alan Wake 2 game footage from my playthroughs. I know this song means a lot of different things to different people. From overcoming addiction, to dealing with trauma. I wanted it to be about the complexities of love, relationships, lost love , and hope. Wide Awake By Jaimes

In the center of this crazy supernatural psychologic horror story, that has been spread over 14 years, 3 games, a tv series, and some books. There are so many times we are not even sure what is real, but at the heart of it all is a Love Story about 2 people that refuse to give up on each other, and that is the one thing we know to be real. Two people that are willing to make such massive personal sacrifices to try and save each other.
Remedy Does more than just make games, they make experiences, and those experiences stick with those of us who play their games for a long time.
Alan Wake 2 Chapter Songs
This is my favorite song from the Incredible Alan Wake 2 Sound Track. This game has an undeniably brilliant soundtrack, with so many amazingly talented musicians, song writers, and bands all contributing to the telling of the story and brining this amazing multimedia experience that is Alan Wake 2 to life.
Best sound track in any game ever.
This is a mix up of Alan Wake Remastered, Alan Wake American Nightmare, and Alan Wake 2.

Yötön Yö Nightless Night Finnish with English Subtitles
Yoton Yo Warning this Film Contains Very Graphic and Disturbing Images of Violence and Rituals.
This stood out to me
- Thomas Zane is the Writer Alan Wake
- The Line: " It's not a loop , it's a Spiral " is said by Alex Casey in this Film
- We get to see a Young Barbara Jaggar for the first time
Such an Important part of the Alan Wake 2 Story that is easily missed.
Nightless Night (Yötön Yö in Finnish) is a short film created by Thomas Zane.
The Literal Word for Word Translation of Yötön Yö to English is actually Midnight Sun
At the start of the film, the following cast list is shown, but in Finnish:
Alex Casey is the Detective
Barbara Jagger is the Writer's Widow
Ilmari Huotari is the Murderer
Ahti is the Janitor
Thomas Zane is the Writer Alan Wake
Music by Ahti and the Janitors
The detective (Aleksi Kesä) finds himself in a blank room, where a cultist in front of him walks through a spiral door. As Kesä walks up to the door, he can hear typewriter keys clacking. Behind a door, a man is writing a story about Kesä’s (Alex Casey) life in the Writer’s Room; a failed marriage, no money, losing his job. The writer also writes about Kesä’s first love, Baba Jakala (Barbara Jagger). Kesä then notices a man on the floor next to the writer, bleeding and struggling, but realises it is himself. Kesä looks at the writer, who growls at him, and then the world gets bright. Kesä is then seen in his car driving down a road, and passes a sign for “Kattilajärvi” (a lake found in Finland). He turns down the road to get to the lake, and the world gets bright again.
Kesä finds himself in a blank room again, where five cultists outside the spiral door walk towards him, though they suddenly disappear. Kesä then finds himself in front of a door with a janitor poster on it. Kesä knocks on the door, calling for Ahti. Kesä opens the door and sees the janitor standing there in the same pose as the poster. Ahti smiles, and recites the line “Beyond the shadows you settle for, there is a miracle, illuminated”. The world shifts, and Ahti can be seen on stage singing “Yötön Yö” at a dance, with the detective dancing with Baba Jakala. Kesä then tells Baba that if he were to leave, for Baba to go with him. Upon spotting two cultists dancing, the world shifts for Kesä.
Finding himself surrounded by the cultists again, Kesä then suddenly appears outside in a forest by a cabin, where he meets the Murderer gloating about killing a man. Kesä walks up to the group, and Kesä asks about the murderer’s brother, where the murderer claims he stabbed him to death as a sacrifice for his master. The murderer tells Kesä that he was the master’s chosen one. The murderer then pulls out a knife, ready to kill Kesä, but once again the world shifts.
Kesä is then sat in a room with Ahti drinking coffee. Kesä explains he’s found himself written into a story, stuck in a loop. Ahti asks Kesä about the Federal Bureau of Control, though Kesä says he has him mistaken for someone else as he doesn’t work there and that he was fired from the FBI. Kesä asks if Ahti needs a janitor’s assistance, though Ahti declines him, stating he may also be out of a job, and that he may try to get a job at the FBC. The world gets bright again, and Kesä finds himself in a forest next to Huotari Well with Baba. She makes him drink a bottle of liquid called "Nightless Night", and upon finishing it Kesä starts to grovel over in pain. Baba then says to him “This is the ritual to lead you on”.
Kesä finds himself in the Writer’s Room again, and as a light turns on, he sees a silhouette of a man. The man, Alén Veikko (Alan Wake), walks up to Kesä, holding the light, and then suddenly the room goes dark. Ahti and Kesä are then in a Sauna drinking beer, talking about Alén and his widow. As Ahti throws water on the steaming rocks, the world gets bright again.
Kesä and Baba are then driving down a road, though when Kesä looks in his rearview mirror, and sees a cultist sitting in the back seat and a tree symbol hanging from the mirror. The world shifts, and Kesä is then crawling next to Huotari Well, vomiting. Suddenly the environment turns red, and cultists appear from the trees and grab onto Kesä, who struggles to break free. Some of the cultists take off their masks, who are revealed to be Baba and the murderer from before. They then stab him in the stomach as Kesä winces in pain, though Alén is also shown to be stabbing him also.
Baba and the murder tell the bloodied Kesä “This is the ritual to lead you on, he returns and you in turn are locked in the room.” Suddenly the Huotari Well lights up, and upon it Alén Veikko appears from it. Baba is thanked by Alén for freeing him from his prison, as Kesä, no longer bloodied and shirtless, watches from afar. Kesä finds himself in the Writer’s Room again, and states “It’s not a loop. It’s a spiral.” The world gets brighter, and Kesä screams. The word “Loppu” (End) appears on the screen played in full Yoton Yo yötön yö

This game not only breaks down the 4th wall, it blows the roof off the building, and collapsIes the floor. Leaving you exposed to what I can only describe as not a video game, but an interactive immersion into a multimedia art experience Where Faction becomes Reality and Reality becomes fiction resided in fiction that is creating reality.

The Long awaited and highly anticipated Alan wake 2 is here, and it is not what a lot of people expected, but Is this a game for you?
It is a true work of art, and Immersive modern masterpiece with truly innovative and impressive design, an original and well written story, its a game that actually redefines what a video game can be. Alan wake 2 is a Dark and Strange world , Where the lines of Reality and Fiction are blurred.
The Game is played through Dual protagonists, In The early parts of the game the player takes control of an FBI Detective name Saga, who gets caught up in a strange series of events in Bright Falls Washington. she has an amazing, almost psychic ability to piece together crimes. you the player do this by collecting evidence and Entering what she calls The Mind Place. This is basically a Room in her own mind where she can focus and see things more clearly. You can freely travel to and from this mind place at almost anytime, where you can review cases, put together evidence, Profile Suspects , and put together leads by taking information from the real world into the mindplace, and this is how saga moves her part of the story forward. The Mind Place is also used to review lore, check your progress on collectibles, upgrade weapons, and even watch TV and listen to music.
Remedy has always pushed the edge of gaming , with their outside the box and original approach to game creations, but this is on an entirely different level. There is simply nothing like this, I have nothing to compare it to, but not even Alan Wake 1 or Control are in the same realm.
Alan Wake 2 is categorized as a survival horror game , but it's so much more, and I really don't think the term Survival or horror really apply to it. The only aspect of Survival is resource conservation, and knowing when to fight and when to run. it's also not a traditional horror game. In a way it doesn't even feel like a game at all, With perfect transitions from gameplay to cinematics, to live video, into reality shifts, flash backs, and time loops which are somehow all seamlessly stitched together.
The game has some of the best over all sound in any game, the songs I have ever heard in a game the songs themselves actually tell part of the story, the ambient music and sound effects are amazing, and really add to the level of suspense and immersion, I am not sure how to managed to create some of the sound effects, but they are so real, that I swear I was hearing noises coming from rooms in my house. In 1 place in particular the game itself turns into Rock Musical, and this is not just a cinematic, its actually a level with full combat and its Mind Blowing how they did this.
Saga traverses from 1 reality to another through places in the game that act as doorways, which are called overlaps, these overlaps only open after she has done enough detective work. Inside the overlaps isa place where the past the present and reality and fiction all blur together, its completely eerie, and scary, and this is where you will experience some challenging, creative, unique, and truly scary boss fights.

Female Protagonists in Video Games a top 5 errr... Top 6 List
TOP 6 Female Protagonists in Video Games
The way my top 6 lists work is #6 will always be a personal favorite or guilty pleasure. I will try to point out Valid Reasons for the remaining 5. I will probably make a Top 6 list every year, so it's not going to be a regular thing. This was created mainly for fun, during some downtime on this channel.

01:28 Samus #metroid
02:10 Lara Croft of course! #tombraider
03:18 Aloy (am I serious? Yes I am). #horizonzerodawn

The Importance and Impact of Female characters in video games. Back when gaming was first getting started, it was aimed almost exclusively at males. They were the ones spending their quarters unsupervised at the arcades, and gender norms were considerably stricter back then.
Luckily for everyone, things have changed over the years. Slowly but surely, incredible female characters started appearing in many titles.
They were almost exclusively just good looking ladies at first. But as gaming evolved throughout the years, so did its characters.
Nowadays we’re privileged to live in a time where awesome female badasses are a common sight on our screens.
My top 6 list of the best Female Protagonists in video games.
From Nintendo to Modern Day, this is my Top 6 either for character development , pure fun, deep narrative, or gameplay mechanics, and in some cases, all 4.
Is your favorite on the list?
