This is achieved through the addition of in-expensive 'grow lights' and a seed starting heat mat that I picked up on Amazon, and it really did make a big difference over my level of success last year.

In this video the 'ask' was to build birdhouses that would not rot, and not rust. This idea came from my lovely wife and what I came up with was a birdhouse made from 4" PVC pipe and some left over Trex decking I had at the barn. If you do not have ready access to the composite decking I would use cedar, and plan on using cedar the next round, not exactly rot proof, but at least rot resistant.
